  1. Duh. He said later rounds, because he thought I compared Marty's drafting ability to DG's when I was really only talking about the 1st round
  2. If you knew how to read you'd see I was responding to topdawg talking about finding 1st round gems NOTHING ELSE, would you not agree Marty was good at that as well? But since you want to bring up DG's "eye for talent" in the later rounds ill play... 2013 4- Kugz (garbage) 5- Klein (serviceable, however Glanton did a better job once he came in due to AJ's injury) 6- Barner (garbage) 2014 4- Boston (going to tred lightly here since he's from UNC but I thought DG reached, Boston played well before getting abused in Seattle. Way too early to judge this pick though) 5- Bene (very solid) 6- Gaffney (injured, waived, lost) So leaving Boston out of this, he's gone 1/5 - 1.5/5 with Klein being serviceable. You would've been better off saying Gettleman has done a better job finding UDFA's or players off the streets/waivers. (Brown, Norwell, Glanton, Remmers, Fozzy) I know I'm missing a few others too
  3. Most morons can put together a solid 3-4 round draft. The good scouts/GM's make their money in the later rounds. It's the difference between the teams that are competitive every year and the ones that aren't.
  4. I'd love to be able to stick Bene back in the slot. Not saying Ball is the answer just saying finding a CB would be nice
  5. @RavensInsider: Alan Ball Panthers deal $2 million, $1M bonus $950,000 salary, $50,00 workout bonus, according to a league source, up to $500K playtime inc.
  6. If Nicks wasn't from Charlotte no one would give a poo about him.
  7. @AdamSchefter: Raiders free-agent WR Denarius Moore is scheduled to meet Thursday with NY Jets, per source. Jets need a speed WR to go along with other WRs Jets stock piling WR's... Must be nice
  8. Since Dave loves value so much why not go for the 2015 ALL ACL Team! 1. Gurley 2. Ogbuehi 3. Ifo
  9. Watch us go... Eric Kendrick's in the 1st and Gurley in the 2nd
  10. I'd entertain a boat load of picks for Luke. Just imagine what Gettleman could do with a few more 1-3 round picks!
  11. We're f*cked if Seattle gets Hardy, can't beat them as it is and they've added Graham and now possibility Hardy We play all 3 teams this season btw
  12. Take a hike Cotchery, welcome aboard Greg
  13. Greg Hardy visiting Cowboys facilities in next couple hours. No agreement in place but negotiations ongoing
  14. Read he was choosing between Pats and Chargers today, maybe with Allen and Johnson they won't go WR in the 1st now. If we can grab Perriman at 25, I actually think we're good. Ideally I'd like to see Cotchery cut and try and sign Crabtree on a "prove it" deal coming off a down year (partly due to his injury and partly due to Kaep) just to give our rookie some time to develop. Mentioned this yesterday but we really missed Ginn last year, he made a lot of big grabs on 3rd down and was our deep threat. I'd also welcome Greg Jennings if it meant cutting Cotchery, Jennings could be that solid vet we were hoping Cotchery would be
  15. Neither do I, what do we have left after putting aside money for rookies? 5 million? Teddy Williams was essentially Gettleman waving the white flag and showing us what to expect.
  16. I'm interested to see what kind of contract he gets, but yeah he's my choice too. Stevie Johnson would be ideal but I'm guessing he'd forsure cost way too much.
  17. Don't like Nicks at all, didn't want him last offseason don't want him this time around. I'd take Jennings over Cotchery because like you said he's slightly better. Out of those three though I like Crabtree based on skill, he's got solid hands. However, I'm thinking Crabtree gets a decent contract now that I've seen Kenny Britt get one. You?
  18. Greg Jennings just got released I'm sure someone will start a thread right away for it
