McNair created that lawsuit simply so the Texans can say “this is why we traded him” and pretend like they won this power struggle
-
Probably something similar to what the Bears offered but from a team that is picking a lot higher than 20th overall in the 1st this year. Seattle doesn’t have a 1st rounder this year and next year. Getting back the 20th pick and then another late 1st next year isn’t going to do much for them.

Report: The Panthers are "locked on Watson"
*FreeFua* replied to MVPccaffrey's topic in Carolina Panthers
What McClain has been putting out publicly throughout this process is in reality a step behind of what is actually taking place behind the scenes. -
Which is why I think we’re seeing the moves we’re seeing. A lot of teams have their concerns over everyone not named Lawrence
-
With the Falcons restructuring Ryan which basically guarantees here there for another year, the Bears opting for Dalton instead of trading up, WFT/Fitzpatrick... I realize none of these guys are long term solutions but maybe teams aren’t as high on this QB class as the media tries to make them out to be

I think the Niners could put together a pretty attractive offer. Bosa, Kinlaw, Aiyuk, Warner (although he’s a FA after this year). At the end of the day he’s still a franchise QB. Obviously we don’t want to be bidding against ourselves but I can’t imagine there aren’t others -

This is a good/fair starting point. This package as is would allow us to keep a lot of our picks still the next few years and this one. You need to give to get. We could sign Reddick to fill Burns role. Obviously he’s not as good but we’d have Watson. I just don’t see how we land Watson without giving up one of those two guys. Everyone wants Watson but immediately says no when they see the names of the players that carry any value in a trade for us. What do you guys expect? -
The corner market is getting thin. 3/42 is very similar to what Bradberry got last year. JB got 29 gtd. Jackson is legit. This is a very good signing much like Bradberry was for the Giants. Instead we’ll go bargain shopping and end up spending the same amount the next 3 years on crap.

Watson has always wanted to be on the West Coast or in the South
-
It’s been explained on here numerous times

Griffin ran down CMC in 2018. Obviously Griffin was priced out of our market but he definitely fit exactly what we’re most likely looking for
-
Yeah, I hope they do something at TE because I don’t think Ian is the answer
-
Completely fine with losing him at that price
-
The Patriots should honestly trade for Bridgewater if they can’t get Jimmy G back. Two tight ends, lots of short quick stuff, right up Teddy boys alley
-
Maybe they’ll want Teddy?
-
And then next year people will be screaming “where does all our cap space go!?!?!?!?” As we sit on more dead cap because of our two signings today. People constantly wonder how the Saints and other teams like the Rams afford their guys. Well for starters they don’t constantly hand out dumb contracts that they’re trying to get rid of the following year
-
Kerr saves us 1.3 and his cap hit would have only been 1.5... at 1.5 it’s tough to complain about what Kerr brings. I hope they have a plan for that 1.3 and this move was needed...
-
The thinking always was that he’d be out of our price range. After seeing Leonard’s deal, it is now 100% confirmed
-
Reddick about to be next?
-
Harris went back to Denver I think

Breaking: Panthers make another move

Smartest move they’ve made all day
