Same. Trubisky is someone you could probably make enough excuses for to sell yourself on the possibility of him becoming good but I’d rather not be the ones to try. He’s basically a white Teddy at the surface level and I don’t feel like going down that road again. Aim higher
-
I want Watson but I’d still be thrilled if we got Wilson. The Bears 1st round pick is 20th while ours is 8th, big difference
-
100% it is. There is a racist billionaires ego at stake... He don’t give a f*ck about the football related aspect of this. He can’t be made to look weak.
-
This ain’t about football to the McNair’s. This is about not losing a power struggle to one of the “inmates”.

Report: The Panthers are "locked on Watson"

To each their own -
Very good value signing by Seattle. Everett at 6 is a steal
-
Low key really nice signing!

So you’d rather roll with those 2 and Teddy instead? Roll the dice on whoever is left at 8? Or trade next years 1st and a few other picks for Fields or Lance? Sounds like the Jets will ultimately end up taking Wilson. Chinn is my fav Panther but if it’s him or Watson, I’m taking the top 5 QB without batting an eye -
Given that Reddick will be used as a stand up edge rusher it is worth mentioning that this MIGHT be a heads up over Burns inclusion in any Houston trade
-
Had him come off the edge. Which is what the Cardinals finally had him do this year which led to his breakout year
-
Rhule and Snow know his abilities better than anyone. Reddick obviously wasn’t getting the offers he was seeking and will be looking to prove that last year wasn’t a fluke. No better way to do that than with the two guys who helped mold him into a 1st rounder from being a walk on DB

Why do I get the feeling we’re not going to like the contract details with this one...
-
I’m going to assume we won’t have enough ammo left in the tank to get them to include Tunsil after we’ve given them everything for Watson but damn, it would solve our then next biggest problem
-
Because he wants to play in the south. South or West Coast. It’s really that simple
-
McNair created that lawsuit simply so the Texans can say “this is why we traded him” and pretend like they won this power struggle
-
Probably something similar to what the Bears offered but from a team that is picking a lot higher than 20th overall in the 1st this year. Seattle doesn’t have a 1st rounder this year and next year. Getting back the 20th pick and then another late 1st next year isn’t going to do much for them.

What McClain has been putting out publicly throughout this process is in reality a step behind of what is actually taking place behind the scenes. -
Which is why I think we’re seeing the moves we’re seeing. A lot of teams have their concerns over everyone not named Lawrence
-
With the Falcons restructuring Ryan which basically guarantees here there for another year, the Bears opting for Dalton instead of trading up, WFT/Fitzpatrick... I realize none of these guys are long term solutions but maybe teams aren’t as high on this QB class as the media tries to make them out to be

I think the Niners could put together a pretty attractive offer. Bosa, Kinlaw, Aiyuk, Warner (although he’s a FA after this year). At the end of the day he’s still a franchise QB. Obviously we don’t want to be bidding against ourselves but I can’t imagine there aren’t others
