  1. Of the Denver game. good lord this place
  2. He didn’t miss the Cardinals game due to injury.
  3. I just don’t understand the physically out of shape part? He played preseason and the first 2 weeks before sitting out Sunday
  4. Why are you expecting him to be inactive for the next few weeks? Henderson gave up one catch against Houston to Cooks. Great ball. And had a missed tackle on a screen pass to his man. We’ll find out VERY quickly how much this entire situation was on Jax or CJ. Rhule expects his corners to be able to tackle (see Donte). I’ve seen CJ make solid tackles before and it wasn’t a concern of mine during the draft last year. I totally understand when the game isn’t close and a players says “f that”. Could be the case with him in Jax. But we’ll find out quick.
  5. This right here. And just to add to Arnold, obviously they preferred not to trade him but anytime you can flip a 2 year 6 million FA signing into a position of need (cornerback) you were willing to take in the 1st round in the previous draft, you do it every single time. The value was just too good to pass up. Even if this doesn’t work out the way we hope, it’s a shot you take.
  6. I think a few of us had pointing it out during the broadcast at the time but CJ Henderson looked miserable when he found out he was being picked by Jacksonville
  7. Panthers wouldn’t have taken him anyways so same thing
  8. Their number 1 corner from each draft. Okudah went 3 last year to Detroit. Their top 2 corners for a 1st (Jaycee), a 3rd and Dan Arnold (a free agent signing)… value is unreal
  9. They loved Henderson last year just an FYI They know him and liked him. This wasn’t a desperation type move. This was someone they wanted last year. Now to get him for Arnold and a 5th… that’s a steal
  10. I think we badly need a centre more than anything to be honest. As bad as the left side has been, Paradis might be the worst one out there
  11. A linebacker can only be so good if the players around him aren’t good. We saw that with Luke near the end when our D started to tail off. Shaq then was left with that same defense for the bulk of his career. Now that the talent on defense has greatly improved Shaq is able to play his position and not try to do too much/overcompensate.
  12. Meh… A lot of what we’re doing now is due to the fact that Jaycee can float out blanket guys. Snow can bring pressure from the back end knowing a guy like Jaycee can hold his own. Same applies to Jackson being healthy so far this year as well. Last year Sow wasn’t able to a lot of things because guys like Douglas, Pride and whoever else we trotted out there couldn’t cover a pylon. It’ll change things and if it doesn’t, teams will attack us through the air. A guy like Melvin is a sitting duck back there in coverage. They truly need to be doing whatever it takes to get Sherman in that building today
  13. The domino effect this is going to have on the defense is going to be big
  14. There’s going to come a time when we’re playing from behind and he’s asked to make chicken salad out of chicken sh!t and that crowd will sadly jump all over that. I actually hope he does go throw some growing pains with this team this season. Just for his development sake. Sam ain’t broken. This is his first year actually learning how to play QB. So far he’s been great. At the end of day he’s already proven that he can play. He’s 24. A year younger than Josh Allen and 2 years younger than Baker Mayfield. I actually thought we were toast when CMC went down. Just because so much of the game plan revolves around him and to change that mid game is tough. Sam came out in the second half an area where we’ve struggled and balled the hell out.
  15. His athleticism is extremely overlooked. Some of these throws he makes on these roll outs while moving are insane. The one to Erickson travelled 25 yards in the air from where Darnold actually threw the ball.
  16. Actually, this may have been his best throw of the night… The timing/anticipation of this throw is perfect. Protect Sam at all costs and this man can flat out ball
  17. The ball he threw to Erickson on the roll out was stupid good. Then he hung in there and took a huge lick on that 3rd down completion to Marshall. Give this man a OL and we have a franchise QB. It’ll get ugly with our OL when we have to play from behind but Sam has shown he is more than capable of being a legit QB in this league
  18. Our OL is f*cking horrendous. For the sake of Sam’s development they need to figure something out. Sam deserves some serious credit for tonight’s win
  19. He’s so hesitant. Looks like he’s more worried about screwing up than actually running forward
  20. At the end of the day it’s pretty damn tough to win without an OL. They can’t run block worth poo. They can’t get out and block on screens worth poo. And they sure as hell can’t pass protect worth poo. Its really too bad. Because otherwise this team is really damn solid
  21. So does this loss count? After reading the huddle the first two week it seemed like our wins didn’t count because of injuries. Bout to lose Horn and CMC… Thats a season changer
