Yep every high drafted QB who has a bad rookie season is given the “well Peyton Manning threw 28 interceptions his rookie year” pass Peyton also threw for over 300 yards in 2 of his first 4 games because he was actually throwing the damn ball downfield. There’s a massive difference there. We hear this excuse all the time. Heard it for Sam Darnold. Zach Wilson. Bryce hasn’t sniffed 300 yards yet. The 3 touchdown game was nice. But until they open it up and we start seeing him get aggressive he’s looking more like those other guys than Manning/Lawrence

This organization has spent a ridiculous amount of draft assets/cap space on QB’s the last several years I think it’s fair to say the majority of the fan base favoured Stroud. This organization had Stroud ranked 3rd. At this point everyone has the right to be pissed. The majority of this fan base has been more right than they’ve been wrong the last several years. Pretty sad when the fans are doing a better job from their couches than the people getting paid millions

Yeah 13 mill for Jeudy, 3 mill (dead money)for Chark and that’s 16 million towards nothing overly special We already have enough sh!tty contracts back on the books already for next year we don’t need another. You either make a big time trade involving Burns/Brown for a legitimate WR1 or find some speed for cheap. They can’t go throwing 13 mill around on a ? Like Jeudy

Seeing how bad this coaching staff is we should’ve just rolled with Corral and he would’ve led us to Williams or Maye Much like we should’ve never signed Teddy and we would’ve possibly landed Lawrence. Although I think we would’ve ended up with Wilson since the Jags only won 1 game that season

In that offense with Russell Wilson at QB? I’m not trying to overly defend Jeudy. I wouldn’t be willing to part with much for him but he’s played with garbage at QB since entering the league.

Thinking back to the pre draft process what exactly did Young show that Stroud didn’t? Stroud has him beat in every physical category badly so it was just his ability to process? Did they not even talk to Stroud? Because AR was number 2 on their board which again combined with the Darnold, Baker and Corral crap this entire scouting departments ability to scout literally any position at this point is pathetic. The fact they’re getting paid to do so is even worse.

Albert Breer on Panthers trade deadline strategy
*FreeFua* replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was hopeful our new coaching staff would plan their schemes accordingly to the talent they have to work with but nope. More of the same old square peg round hole bs -

They need to trade Luvu if they’re not planning on bringing him back Literally anyone with an expiring contract needs to be flipped for a pick if they’re not in the Panthers plans moving forward -
Same. Get Corbett back and that’s one hell of an offensive line

Good. As they should be. A few years too late for Donte -

Good lord Smitty just trashed the f*ck out of Jeudy on the pregame show

Trading for a WR that can get off the line in under 6 minutes is a must
-
The move up was made for Bryce. Tepper/FO had plans to be aggressive to get up to 1 long before Reich even got hired and their target was Bryce.
-
I don’t care if he throws interceptions to an extent. These WR’s are utter trash. So if he wants to take some chances instead of throwing 900 check downs go for it

After listening to the pressers and Bryce talking about plays he likes and what not I believe they need to see this through for the entire year. Now they’re simplifying stuff and having to change anything right now I’m not sure would be worth it. Scott absolutely deserves to be fired for the mess at WR we have though.

McDaniel: Bryce is a baller with a bright future
*FreeFua* replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m super curious to see what Miami does with Tua. Do you pay him? How many QB’s could you drop into that situation in Miami with McDaniel and have similar results with without having to break the bank? On one hand can you let a guy who’s putting up the numbers he is walk? On the other he’s a concussion away from death and McDaniel’s is a genius… -

A host on Lions flagship radio proposes Williams + first for Burns
*FreeFua* replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hutchinson and Burns would EAT on 3rd downs Lions are winning that division no doubt about it so the pick coming back would be mid 20’s at best I’d definitely be calling about other WR’s first if I was willing to trade Burns but whatever. They need to be doing all they can to make sure Bryce has every opportunity to succeed before we give a crap about the defense -

There was a few plays against Detroit that Bryce did a great job at moving in the pocket as it was collapsing to make a throw. There’s still a good bit of QB’s that instinctively bail when they need to move from their initial spot. That’s not Bryce. I’d just love to see this kid gain some weight/muscle. It would help generate more arm strength. Maybe he breaks an arm tackle or two a game and is able to extend a play. I think they need to get more aggressive on offense and just let Young learn that way- 56 replies
