They NEED to be shopping Donte

The level of hate some of you have for Brady is comical. OL is worst in the league. QB bottom tier. Don’t get me wrong there are a lot of concept things Brady calls at times I’m not a fan of but but overall it’s tough to succeed as an OC if your running game can’t pick up a few keys yards on 3rd downs. Your QB is struggling with progressions. Again, year 2 of a FULL tear down rebuild. One of the two coordinators was bound to get the short end of the stick.

It was no coincidence that Hurney was shown the door after it was clear Teddy wasn’t it. They rid themselves of Teddy because Tepper wasn’t watching that again. Tried for Stafford. Jax/Jets weren’t trading down. We all know the Watson situation… so that left Sam. This board would’ve flipped had they landed Stafford with their 8th overall pick. Majority of this board doesn’t want Watson. What the hell do some of these people want them to do? At this point, people better hope they can lure Rodgers here this offseason.

This would be a big loss. It’s way too early to sh!t on Rhule. They’ve filled a ton of holes in 2 off seasons while being handcuffed by a QB situation he didn’t ask for. The only tackle worth a damn on the market was Trent Williams so they went out and found talent at other positions of need. Had Sewell been on the board they would’ve taken him. I realize the huddle expects any coach to come and take the leagues least talented roster and transform it into the leagues most talented roster within 2 years but that’s not realistic. But huddle gonna huddle so carry on.

Won’t be much of a loss from what I’ve seen. Let’s face, most here just talk. They’ll still be here if Watson is the QB. From a organization stand point it can’t get much worse than it is now. The Panthers were 3-1 and their stadium was taken over by Eagles fans. The Panthers were then 3-2 and their stadium was taken over by Vikings fans. After the initial poo storm passes and if Watson can win games all of that will disappear over time.

Few things 1) This blocked Tampa from signing him 2) If we don’t choose to sign him we get a comp pick anyways 3) Both him and Donte will want larger deals this offseason. Gilmore is a top tier corner. These two could very well be playing the rest of this year to see who Carolina chooses to pay 4) You can never have enough guys that can cover in today’s NFL 5) If Horn comes back for those 4 games… good god

You guys really undervalue the importance of being able to cover in Snow’s scheme. I tried telling you specifically @SBBlue that Jaycee going down would have a domino effect. CJ needs to get up to speed for Philadelphia this week or it’ll be a lot of the same. I will admit I was surprised how easily they moved the ball on the ground today though.
