The anticipation has really started to show up the last 4 weeks One of the best balls Young has thrown was that deep in (dagger concept) to Legette against the Saints Then yesterday the anticipation was next level and consistent throughout the entire game. The only reason we were even remotely in that game yesterday was because of Young There are a lot of QB’s in the league that won’t ever throw with the type of anticipation Young showed all day yesterday. I really hope Young gets in the damn weight room this offseason. The ability to anticipate and read defenses at a high level is clearly there. Now it’s on the Panthers and this staff to continue to build a team around him

There always seemed to be a excuse for Burns and the lack of sacks At this point there isn’t an excuse left. We’ve seen him in a 4-3. We’ve seen him in a 3-4. We’ve seen him partnered up with a better pure pass rusher (Reddick). We’ve now seen him on a NY team with a very solid front 4. Burns is who he is. Would be the greatest touch football edge rusher in history if there was such a league but there’s not. He makes the odd splash and outside of that he’s a bit of a liability. The most annoying part of passing on the Rams trade is that they ended up with a guy in Jared Verse who is a better version of Brian Burns with a pick that should’ve been ours

Bryce has been a completely different QB since coming back. That started in Denver where it was obviously he was playing a lot more loose and willing to push the ball downfield Bryce continues to build off of the previous weeks performance and that’s what you want to see Bryce has been making some real good anticipation throws. Reading defenses well. Pushing the ball downfield (7 throws of 20+ air yards yesterday. 8 if you want to include PI to Thielen). The deep ball accuracy has been there. Some of Young’s best throws yesterday were incompletions. Sideline balls to XL and Moore both should’ve been caught. RZ dot to Tremble should’ve been caught. And another RZ ball to Moore that Young gave him a chance at. Bryce is starting to execute Canales offense and yesterday Canales finally opened it up a bit. Canales was to blame for the 126 passing yards in Germany as he played a more conservative game. The next bit I’m looking for his for Young to be a bit more decisive with running the ball. Start putting that on film and it’ll help open things up a tad

This If he continues on the trajectory he has been on these last 3 weeks I’d be completely fine rolling into next season with giving him the whole year Stats lie. I just want to see him continue to push the ball downfield when opportunity presents itself. Make a few plays outside the pocket. I’d also like to see him run a bit more tbh Bryce seems to be more confident these last 3 weeks. You can hear him at the LOS. He isn’t crazy fidgety doing interviews. But yeah… we’ll see
