From our front office making some extremely boneheaded deal before the deadline Yeah the loss itself was tough and this team showed a ton of grit but I can’t help but think they would’ve done something incredibly dumb because we would’ve been in first place When we stumbled into the playoffs in 2014 at 7-8-1 we had our franchise QB and having them gain valuable playoff experience was worth it. It is much different when we’re looking for our QB still. Those draft slots are more valuable now

CJ played FANTASTIC today
-
Lmao ok
-
Ha man you have to catch that yikes
-
If we even had slightly below average QB play we’d probably be 4-3 right now And on track to win today Its truly impressive just how poorly they’ve missed on QB’s these last few years
-
If you can’t trust your QB to throw it downfield on 3rd and 12 twice… You have a problem. This may be good enough to beat the 3-4 Falcons but it won’t be good enough to beat a team that scores points like Cincy

PJ has such a live arm When they let him sling it, it’s entertaining to watch. Don’t confuse entertaining for always good but it’s fun

Today would be the day to try Baker Against a terrible Falcons pass D. Worth one last shot
-
PJ had his mind made up pre snap DJ wide open again Pull PJ. Enough is enough
-
Yes If you can’t trust your offense to throw on 3rd and 12 in a league where offense wins games then you might as well be tanking for a QB
-
That run had nothing to do with PJ’s miss on 1st. This is who Wilks is
-
3rd and 12 down in Falcons territory and you run… And people want this team to win today?

I didn’t overly care for Stroud last year but the more I watch him the more I really like him Kind of like Burrow in the sense that he doesn’t have any “wow” qualities but he throws such a pretty accurate ball to all spots on the field. He’s really good.

That Shaq injury is even worse when you look at his contract, age and type of injury

Good, Chuba is trash and I look forward to seeing the other guys get a shot

Sounds like another week without Horn...
*FreeFua* replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
I figured he wouldn’t miss this game due to not getting to play against Pitts last year At this point we were probably better off taking Fields. Just Fields legs alone would’ve given us more production than what we’ve had from our QB’s the last 2 seasons Horn is an elite cover guy but time missed is really starting to add up -
Same. He’s raw but he shows flashes of superstar potential If you just focus on his lower half on all his throws you can guess which ones are complete vs incomplete most of the time. When his footwork is good he looks amazing. The kid just needs reps I think. Which is why I could see him staying another year but if Trey Lance can go 3rd overall there’s no reason why Richardson can’t go in the 1st round

Me fear is a win Sunday leads to a stupid impulse trade

What’s your 2023 QB big board (including Corral)
*FreeFua* replied to Wundrbread33's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t think Corral should be in anyones top 5 and I liked Corral coming out Smarts/identifying coverages: Young Playmaking ability: Young Pure passing ability: Stroud Levis/Richardson both have superstar like tools. Will they put it all together is the gamble with them. I like both these guys more than Lance coming out. Mainly due to playing in the SEC and the jump for them won’t be as big. Then you got a guy like Hooker who is smart and athletic. Won’t ‘wow’ you with any one thing. Kind of like a Desmond Ridder imo. Cam Ward and Jaren Hall are two others that are intriguing from a passing/athletic standpoint. It’s definitely an intriguing class. -
Albert Breer talks Panthers, Burns, and details McCaffrey trade...

Lions will end up with the 1st pick We’ll need to hope for a Texans win over Jax and for us to lose out However, I think our OL and defense are both too good for us to lose to some of the teams left on our schedule. There’s no way we’re losing to Detroit. I think it’s even possible we sweep Atlanta. My guess is we end up picking in the 7-11 range. Only problem is, every team that ends up with a high pick will most likely need a QB minus Philly. They’d be a prime trade candidate

More trade predictions from LaCanfora

We need to save every penny worth of cap space this season to roll over to next year If someone wants to give us a pick and free up some money for Cam freaking Erving you take it -
