Huddle Podcast - Talking Panthers with Jonathan Jones
imminent rogaine replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its a good thing you brought in the extra guys; it gives it a college party feel. The male to Sammi Jo ratio was waaaayyy too low. -
Wegher and Ward, Ward and Wegher
imminent rogaine replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
They both look mean out there. We have seen some of the O-linemen come in and play with meanness. It is really easy to get behind a hard-nosed group of guys that you know will give it everything they have. I'd really like to see this group on the field and would love to see Ward get some changes to piss off some Saints and Seahawks LBs the way he did a few of ours in camp. -

They were down the field trying to stop the touchdown. I Norwell ( maybe Remmers) was trying to hit the guy with the ball but missed and drilled Oher in the back which sent him to the ground. I didn't look like an injury or anything, you just don't see something like that very often. -

You guys see norwell( I think) light up oher on that interception? -
Good write-up. I am taking a step back from the ledge. I hate our shotgun offense anyway; I think Cam is better suited for play action.

Rapsheet - Torn ACL for Kelvin Benjamin

I feel the burden of inescapable hopelessness weighing on my being, making it hard for my soul to breath. Actually, I am having really physical symptoms from this. I feel like I just looked at the depth chart and saw Jimmy Clausen as the starting QB. Maybe the defense can hold every team below 10 points. -
Kelvin Benjamin carted off at practice
imminent rogaine replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If he just misses a few weeks, we might be okay. I could still see us wining 3 of the first 4 without him and allowing Funchess to get some looks. -

Bottom Panthers PFF Performers - Preseason Week 1
imminent rogaine replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Get rid of Thomas Davis. The guy is a joke. I could tell from the moment that we drafted him that he would have a negative pff rank during our first preseason game of 2015. -

I'm sure we will hear about it once he meets with the team and showers up. -

I think last time we played them in pre-season, Norman dove into some guys knee and ended his season(maybe career?) -

Panthers Roster Projection Update
imminent rogaine replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am with you. 1) I say let Silatolu and Scott fight over 1 spot and keep the Fozz. 2) I, like several of you, are pulling for Ward over Brockel. Give me a guy that is good at one thing over a guy that is kind of okay at several things. I think that is really what I will be watching for in the preseason 3) Agree that we keep more LBs but I'm not ruling Glanton out as one of those that we keep. He showed some promise. 4) Does anyone know how these guys rank in terms of special teams ability? Speed? White seems well rounded but not great in coverage. -
Looks like Ginn hasn't quite figured out that ball-spin. Smitty spun perfect spirals.

I understand the rank on this depth chart doesn't matter. Does not being on this chart matter? Specifically looking at Brandon Williams and Marcus Lucas.

DAY 6 - Training Camp Tweets (Aug 6)
imminent rogaine replied to KB_fan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I guess the vet day off thing is prob a part of the cba or something but I don't know that we can afford to give Oher days off. Do days off mean they don't have to be there at all or just that they don't have to suit up? Hope he is present and doing something productive. -
Harvard - Panthers bottom 10 team in 2015
imminent rogaine replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
This system might be a decent overall indicator but it isn't going to accurately reflect teams that have really good players outside of the ones that were chosen. For instance, a great o-line (cowboys), a multiple RB system (eagles), or a 3/4 spread type offense probably wont place as high as they should since those positions are ignored. That said, it makes since that the Panthers would be skewed down. They only use 4 - top players from the front seven. The Panthers have an above average to great front 7. if they chose 5 or 6 of these players, I'd think that we would be bumped up Plus they don't know about that three TE set we are going to ruin the league with this year. #Swolebones #ThisIsTheYear -
Do they give trophies for sitting inside and playing video games all day? I'm pretty sure that is all kids do these days. I remember not keeping score in t-ball and being infuriated. Why in the world would you play the game if you don't keep score. That is the entire point of a game... otherwise its called practice and, like studying, practice is for people that are inferior.
