I agree with most of you that Hardy more than likely assaulted Holder in some manner. I understand that there are pics but those pics are not proof that Hardy attacked Holder, they are proof that Holder had injuries. Hardy's link to those injuries is speculation. I think the NFL punishing on speculation is what doesn't quite sit right. The NFL is trying to make a stand which is commendable - even though its just to appease the media- but they are going to start looking silly when they are losing appeals and suits. And, if they start losing suits ($), I think we'll see their practices/stance change again.

If this suspension holds, I might just have to watch on mute. The entire game is going to be how righteous the NFL and GODell are for striking down the man that makes Hitler look like Mother Theresa. No way any network or broadcaster will have balls to voice any opinion that might even suggest that 10 games was too harsh. Maybe I'll listen to Eugene make up words and botch names.

At the very least, this would be a great depth signing... Bene and Norman aren't the stoutest guys and Norman gets dinged up quite a bit playing the way he does. We've added some speed and special teams players already; our team is young and it looks like that trend will continue with all of these draft picks; why not add a wise old vet to season up these youngsters ( I include Norman as a youngster). I figure he will give us a home-town discount like all of the other former all-pro free agents. Waiting for him to tweet out that he is reading his copy of Charlotte's Web.

I'm gonna miss that fella. Its hard to find a DE that is that good of a pass rusher AND that good of a run stopper. Also, I'm pretty sure most of the great defensive players in NFL history are half crazy. Edit: Though, the idea of an extra draft pick for G-spot does get my juices flowing.
