  1. I love the Cowboys Saints Seahawks Panthers. I've been following them ever since they beat the Giants in December.
  2. Seattle fans seem like they'd be more at home at a soccer game.
  3. Agree on DE play and maybe play design. Almost every play has CJ and Allen shooting up the outside. This might be a good call against a speedier QB but at some point you just have to let them do whatever they can to get to the QB. If they can't do it, give more snaps to Ealy, Addison, and Delaire.
  4. Yea, Allen isn't really getting there but he is still serving a purpose. Pushing the tackle back keeps the QB from stepping his way. Most of our DT sacks are because the ends have forced the QB to step up and not move laterally or escape. I do think we really need to get CJ going though. He will be critical to a playoff run.
  5. The formula is beginning to become clear. Set the edge with Allen, send the RE deep around the tackle forcing the QB to step up into Shorts arms. I hope I see Eli crumple into a little ball, waiting for the whistle to blow like he did last time we played. I've never seen someone willingly take so many sacks.
  6. Luke pursuing Ryan looks like the Water Boy...Water doesn't suck... You're drinking the wrong kind of water, Matty!
  7. Hahahaha. Cousins. If they get rid of Matt Ryan, he is going to land somewhere QB-poor like Houston and take them to the playoffs while Atlanta gets sucked down in the muck of the NFC south to battle New Orleans for the #1 pick year after year. As much as it pains me to dole out complements to Ryan, above-average QBs don't grow on trees.
  8. I like that shot of KK and Brees in the air. KK looks like he is humping Brees like a dog - showing his dominance and you can almost feel the pain Brees is about to feel.
  9. I'll be wearing my brand new Josh Norman jersey!! My amazing wife surprised me with a custom white one for our anniversary.
  10. Looking at that video from him against the Cards, he looked old when he was getting in on run plays but looked like the real deal when rushing the passer. In the long-term, you are probably right that he is spelled during early/running downs.
  11. If he can come in here and get some roughing the passer penalties on key downs, he will fit right in.
  12. That Coleman pic needs to be on a tee-shirt. Maybe swap the red blood for panther blue blood. They showed him on the TV coverage for like half of second and it looked like there was blood smeared all in his visor. He seemed to be everywhere getting in on hits and gang tackles. I like that; play til the whistle blows.
  13. No hitters? "And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and fuuurious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am Thomas Davis Sr when I lay My vengeance upon you." -TD58
  14. I really have to think that Love is a lock looking at age, assuming he is cheap, and with Star's string of foot issues.
  15. I think Wegher looks as solid as can be. If the line blocks 3 yrds, he gets 5. If he gets to the edge, he gets 15. He puts his shoulders down and runs behind his pads. If he ever gets the opportunity to run behind our (or any) 1st team o-line, i think he does big things. I would rather see this playout in a panthers uni.
  16. I'd rather have the interviews that he is getting. The other guys get plenty of coverage and are probably going to be very reluctant to give us anything novel or ground-breaking. These guys give us a chance to know some of the players that mainstream media is overlooking.
  17. I like Woods. He could be good with a good QB. Also, I wonder what Kenny Britt would cost. I'm sure he would cost too much but he is a bigger #1 caliber WR that might be had at a decent price for various reasons.
  18. Bill goes to shake hands for some reason and DG responds with a Marshawn-style crotch grab.
  19. Its a good thing you brought in the extra guys; it gives it a college party feel. The male to Sammi Jo ratio was waaaayyy too low.
  20. They both look mean out there. We have seen some of the O-linemen come in and play with meanness. It is really easy to get behind a hard-nosed group of guys that you know will give it everything they have. I'd really like to see this group on the field and would love to see Ward get some changes to piss off some Saints and Seahawks LBs the way he did a few of ours in camp.
  21. They were down the field trying to stop the touchdown. I Norwell ( maybe Remmers) was trying to hit the guy with the ball but missed and drilled Oher in the back which sent him to the ground. I didn't look like an injury or anything, you just don't see something like that very often.
