  1. He was brought on when we switched to 3-4 as an outside rusher. I distinctly recall thinking that he looked much more like an actual 4-3 LB when we saw him on the field. He is roughly 6’3” 240 - I really could see him coming in as a Sam option.
  2. The cardinals gave up a second, future fourth, and a dilapidated David Johnson... I wouldn’t call that “giving up everything”. They also sucked and didn’t make the playoffs. Adam’s is on his 5th year option and will be an UFA. I think “working out” is tbd. If they can’t keep him, then they gave up that capital for a two year rental and at least one of those resulted in zero playoff wins.
  3. I felt like we should have traded CMC before inking him to a big contract. Now, this year, with all the inflated deals being rumored for QBs and CMC both being paid and returning from injured, we wouldn’t get anything that makes the deal enticing. Why give away assets at their deflated value? Let him play another year, hope he shows out, then maybe test the waters. Or, If our team is rounding out and looking solid, just keep him. this year, I’d grab a back in the mid to late rounds as insurance. I like Rhamondre Stevenson. Good size, good patience, good blocker, decent catcher. He’d provide some short yardage value with starter up-side and shouldn’t cost too much.
  4. That’s kind of where I’m at now. Try to fix all the holes. A lot of our holes seem to line up with strong positions in this draft - of course that is easy to say when you need 1/3 of a roster. I kept earmarking late round QBs that could possibly develop behind teddy but every time I do, they return to school. We may not have any other option besides teddy unless we do something reckless and dumb. I like Rattler but it would also seem that there should be a bunch of QBs next year with several returning for 2021.
  5. Or sign and trade Zylstra. Zylstra, Teddy, and a conditional 5th for Watson.
  6. I’d be knocking on the door for those two seconds. 8 for the two seconds and Minshew.
  7. They are clearly just saying that. It’s a half-truth. This isn’t the place for him. He has a chance to play elsewhere, maybe start, maybe for a contender, likely for less money. There was no reason for hard feelings or bridge burning by either party. Good Luck, I’d be glad to see Tre in a different uniform.
  8. Why are we cutting Burris? Is his contract that bad? We just cut a safety and he seemed pretty decent when he was on the field
  9. Whitehead isn’t under contract. I’ve seen countless mentions of him needing to be cut. He isn’t a panther and I seriously doubt we have to worry about seeing him anymore.
  10. I agree. The people in front of us will draft QB or trade their pick to someone else that will. Too many QB hungry teams in a climate that is increasingly desperate for an immediate splash and immediate success.
  11. Wrs with 10+ Forced missed tackles on “runs”.. Is he literally talking about “runs”? just when Curtis was handed the ball? Because no poo. Good WRs don’t really get handed the ball that much.
  12. Yep. And there are soooo many linemen that look like legitimate nfl starters. I think this is the year your grab 5 guys for the line. Add a late round QB. They all get a year to learn, mesh, bond. Next year, coaches should have an idea on whether they hit on those picks or if anyone needs replaced. And then, If we bring in a rookie, he’s got an entire line with experience together.
  13. Did a Pff one for a change. Don’t care about the grade one but, you Might as well go ahead and crown us the 2022 champions. Can prob tag and trade Moton or move him to LT. Just missing a WR; if I did this draft over, I’d prob just draft one tackle and find a wr. All aboard the Crum train.
  14. Whoever we could snag for a decent deal. I’d be down w Norwell if we end up trading up and don’t have the picks to load up on line. I think Brate would be an excellent signing.
  15. Got paid to be Fletcher Cox. Played more like Jessica Fletcher.
