  1. Well if you wanted in on the deck pecking, you should have said something.
  2. I think I'm too flexible for my own good. I never get a stretch on the pec deck that rivals doing DB flies, even adjusted all the way back. I use the handles sometimes and sometimes I keep my hands open and flat. The trouble with the DB flies is that you don't get quite the squeeze at the top
  3. I do both of those, however I prefer dumbbell flies to the pec deck as I don't seem to get much out of doing it on the machine.

  5. After watching some videos, I think I've been going too deep on my bench presses.
  6. Depending on how hard I go, mine will get sore. Probably a sign I need more trap work anyway. Sorry babe, no cardio, so I'm gonna try this in a 4 day split. Going to a 4 day split, I need to expand what I'm doing chest-wise as well. -Barbell/dumbbell press - flies -??

  8. dang it. you're right. Going to have to add shrugs. I've been considering this for a while. I'm contemplating going to a 4 day split after only being on a 3 day split this whole time. Now I just have to figure out how to divide the exercises.
  9. good gawd that's a lot of trap work. Listen to biscuit. He has traps like mount everest. I on the other hand do not directly work the traps in any of my movements, but they get some work on deadlifts, upright rows, pull ups, pull downs but I also don't want giant traps.
  10. Isn't it wild to think that we have a gif of something that happened 2.7 billion years ago? FYI this is what earth looked like back then and there wasn't much oxygen to speak of.

  13. I did something this weekend that I normally don't do, drink beer. I could feel my gainz being lost and I felt sorer from my workout on saturday than usual. I substituted a high row into my workout for t-bar rows and it was amazing.

  17. some of my lifts have gone down recently. Dunno if I'm pushing too hard or coming to the gym too tired or what. Trying to get more sleep at night.
  18. I am sore, but my limiting muscles on deads are always the ones in my upper back. My legs barely come into play at deadlifts of ~220 because my legs are way stronger than that. If you saw my weirdly shaped body, you would understand. I knew I should have sent you a nude selfie.
  19. I didn't do deadlifts yesterday with legs, and I'm going to try to tack them on today with bench presses. Am I crazy? Probably.
  20. I actually almost bought a container of it on tuesday on a whim. But no.
  21. I am 29. I won't be old for another 6 months.
  22. I too am nursing a minor injury. Started getting pain and tightness under my right shoulder blade about an hour after working out on sunday. Hurts to breathe in too deeply, but getting better.
