No to picking him over Fields. Not sold on Jones that early, so yeah. But I’d rather trade back at that point. Especially if we don’t upgrade at QB. I wouldn’t be upset if we drafted him tho. Versatile playmaker. He would more than makeup for losing Samuel IMO.

By “rebuild”, I think they just want to get younger. Watson falls into that. I wouldn’t read much into it.

I disagree. I don’t see a run happening in the playoffs, but I feel we could get in and go nowhere. If we were in the AFC, then prob not.

I can honestly see us making the playoffs with Bridgewater. We have talent on this team and our division is meh outside of Tampa. NFC as a whole (judging from last year) is much weaker than the AFC. If Bridgewater cleans up his red zone turnovers and CMC helps our red zone scoring (which I think he will), we could scrap together a decent push. We would likely fall short in the playoffs though, going against a team with a playmaking QB. But after losing about 6 or so games last year by one possession, I think we can be competitive now. Will that further screw us out of a franchise QB? Probably. Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe we luck out and take a sleeper late in the 1st one year or in the second and they pan out. Also, please trade for Watson. Haha!

Yes, 9-7 sounds about right. We were missing consistent play from the QB, lost our best offensive weapon, and we lost 8 games by only one score. I don’t expect playoffs, but def a winning record.

If we are unable to get a QB, we SHOULD trade back and pick up an OL or two. We should not draft where we are unless Sewell drops. We don’t need receiver. I see the appeal for Surtain, but trading back should be in our plans if we can’t grab a QB.

Watson is my first choice. If not: Trade for Stafford, as long as it doesn’t take a first. Trade back in the first and take two OL. Make moves in the next 2-3 years to acquire a young QB thru draft. (Trade up or whatever) Let him sit behind Matt for a year.

We could draft a QB in the first round for the next three years and never get a QB near Watson’s level. I’d do it. Watson, CMC, Moore, Anderson, and draft a WR to replace Samuel in the 4th round. Also a OL or two.

CMC is not a normal RB. You can basically list him as a WR. He can be used as a WR, even when he is unable to produce as a RB. He is a match-up NIGHTMARE!!! That being said, QB is way more important. We can draft a RB in mid to late rounds. We need to resign Moton as well. So it’s tough. But you can draft a QB in ROUND 1 for 5 years STRAIGHT and still not find a Watson. It’s NEVER a guarantee. If you can make it happen, YOU DO IT!

That’s what I have been saying! We were in 8 games that we lost. We settled for FGs way too much. If we can get the ball in the end zone just one more time per game, we win close to 6 more games IMO. We have a problem scoring TDs. We have to fix that or we are toast. You are not holding our opponents to 17 every week. Not gonna happen in this NFL.

If we can’t get QB, then we should trade back. Pick up an extra pick and grab two good offensive lineman.

Denver hasn't done well against teams who run well. I think that is really something to look at. They won't be able to use the same scheme for Cam that they did for Brady. They are going to have to play defense against us that they have had pretty much ZERO experience doing in a real game. I don't see that affecting how we play offense though because people have played us this way recently....and it worked once. I also can't see Star/Short/Keek/Davis/Norman/Coleman not playing lights out. If they get a run game going it may close the gap, I just don't see that happening.

I really do think Vikings win this. Wilson does have some fumble issues when dropping back. It's going to be VERY cold. This will affect grip. Expect a fumble to be the difference.

Any advice for them on the loss of Tillman? This concerns me. Already hurting at corner. Is the answer on the roster? lol!

Love it! I really wanna see Ward make this team. I think Ward and Wegher are hungrier than Fozzy and Tolbert. I would hate to see Tolbert go, as well as Fozzy, but not at the expense of losing Ward and Wegher.
