Highly contagious, that can take your entire team out of a game, forcing you to forfeit. No matter how anyone feels about vaccinations or the rule, the simple presence of an unvaccinated person on your roster can result in an automatic "L". Hard to blame coaches that had no say in this rule. (to my knowledge) It's incredibly risky. (speaking only to losing games based on their presence, not Covid itself) All personal feelings aside, allowing a nonvaccinated player to stay on your roster presents an issue you wouldn't otherwise have, and a very costly one at that.....regardless of how anyone feels about the rule.

I mean, it is going to be that way throughout the league. I don't believe that every team cares about whether the player is vaccinated or not PERSONALLY. However, if not, it can come back to bite the team very hard because of what THE NFL has put into place. Ron cares because of his personal health situation. I don't believe that most other coaches truly care about vax or no vax, they don't wanna forfeit games.

I wish they would let PJ Walker go and grab a different QB. I mean, I'll take Brian Hoyer at this point. Haha! If Darnold goes down, I don't see Walker taking us anywhere. Unless they think they can calm him down and cut down on those misfires.

I feel like this is the only answer. As optimistic as I am about Darnold and the offense, it’s real hard to leave an MVP QB on the sidelines. And as great as having Gross would be, the weapons on this team can be used to game plan around the o-line . It’s the best RB we have ever had, to go with the best WR group we have ever had. (Shout out to Smitty, Moose, and Proehl) But with CMC as a valid receiving option, our big play potential is off the charts. And why not add the QB of the defense? No way we are not top contenders with the addition of them. Luke leading this defense puts us as a top 5 defense out the gate IMO.

I honestly see him packaging them with other picks to move up a few spots in a few rounds next year. He did an amazing job in the draft of maximizing the picks he had.

I am really surprised Chubba was able to fall forward on this run. I am very excited about this guy. The concerns on his hands seem to be real, but that can be improved. Ready to see what he can do with some decent blocking.

If we win the Super Bowl it will likely be because: We snuck in the playoffs by Darnold being smart with the football, making plays when needed, but not forcing what isn’t there; while the defense was a top 10 unit. Once in the playoffs, the defense lets loose and smothers everyone we play. Taking risks that pay off. Offense is much the same, with a methodical efficiency. A few 50/50 balls gets us the wins.

I am optimistic, I THINK I like where we are headed. Lol! A lot of that will depend on Darnold. I feel like the organization has already proven thru two drafts and a COVID season that they are not the same ol Panthers. Just adjusting in the middle of a game (I know....shocking) has made me optimistic. The defense played well last year considering the personnel. The offense played well despite losing CMC and having QBs without the ability to push the ball. Add in the fact that the staff took notice of where we were struggling and picked guys to combat that, I’m stoked! (3rd down defense - Horn, Bouye, Reddick, Fox, Jones) (Redzone - Dan Arnold, Marshall, Darnold) Just too name a few.
