  1. Still don't think Curtis will be here. They already tried - he wants to be more than a WR3
  2. They're very much going after Watson but these moves weren't for him. Nothing since the new GM. Seems they're going to try and sign him but most likely a FT.
  3. Marty had a 0% chance at a new contract if Will Grier was the QB. He wasn't going to survive a tanking season
  4. Listen to what Tepper says in that interview - the dude cant hide anything. He said (paraphrasing) that he wasn't as close to some of the decisions early on as he was learning to be an owner and that's on him and now he's more vested in those decisions. Translation: he let Marty fool him with TB but fug that poo from now on
  5. We love to blame Hurney for every bad move the Panthers make but for some reason we attach Teddy to Rhule and for the life of me I cant understand why. It was such a desperate move and only one person in a decision making role was desperate.
  6. If you want to live in that fantasy world then go for it. But the point is, the 49ers can't get close to as a tractive a package as Miami can for both the team and the player combined
  7. This is why Miami and Carolina are the only options IMO. With Miami being the heavy heavy favoriteWith Miami being the heavy heavy favorite
  8. Assuming theyre doing to so something dumb When there will be more attractive offers on the table is really silly
  9. Yeah that just isn't realistic. Miami can get them the three and Wilson. That's realistic
  10. Houston isn't starting over with Jimmy G. That’s a terrible plan
  11. The picks the assets. How does SF get Houston a new QB? Miami’s assets do
  12. I don't see how we beat Miami with what they can offer and its attractiveness for Watson
  13. Yes, man, both organizations did a terrible job. That's the whole point.
  14. But Cam was intentionally a major part of the run game. We didn't think the Panthers didn't have a run game (most years) while Cam was here. Johnson literally retired early because they were the only options in a terrible franchise. So are you arguing that the Lions did a good job building around their franchise QB? Because the only point my post was making is that they didn't. I'm not arguing who had more weapons.
  15. I'm not comparing Stafford vs Cam’s weapons. I'm comparing the similarities in the two poorly built franchises. Stafford’s weapons may have been better but they weren't good. They've had one 1K rusher and terrible Ds Edit: outside of Megatron there isn't a star on your list. And the RB list is a joke. Coaches are bad too
  16. Does one WR help turn a franchise into a winner? Real question: do you think the Lions did a good job building around Stafford?
  17. I wanted to post this too. We complain Cam got no help (he didn't) and then say Stafford isn't good or hasn't won as a reason to not go after him.
  18. Ha! Great line! The only thing I know for sure is they're very aware that they can't roll with the same QB room from 2020. Where the new body or bodies come from I'm not sure and I’d just be guessing like us all. Depends on how the conversations for the available vets go first, it seems.
