You guys are ignoring what a dedicated fan this guy was as a 10 yr old. What is important is how much this meant to him. This is not about Mick, this is about Admiral Ackbar and his was one of the best posts I have seen here. Shame on those of you who turned this into something it should not have been. Why I did not want Watson. 1, When Watson got his contract at Houston I remember seeing his press conference where he was crying saying how much it meant to him and how much their faith in him meant. Did not take long before he was refusing to play for the team. You want to trust this guy? 2. My god we would have to give up so much. Way to much for Watson and for this team at this time. 3. The lawsuits/character/poor judgement and who knows what is down the road with the NFL. 4. Fix the Oline fix the defense. Did I mention the Oline? Now kind of fun that Tepper has been so public for so long wanting Watson and he got rejected. Can only hope that this gets his attention.

That would be the plan but seems like Rhule and Tepper have their heart set on a shinny new QB. You would think a 7 year plan would have some patience to do what you recommend. I just cannot muster up any hope that Rhule and Tepper will/can do the right thing.

I hope he is driving the decision, not Rhule. Can't imagine that McAdoo would have come here to let Rhule pick his QB.
