  1. Thanks for helping me out there my friend. The Riveras did lots for the Humane Society of Charlotte. Loved the dog themed Panther calendar they did a few years ago. Wish they would do that again.
  2. That was very hard to read. Don't even want to try to imagine how horrific this must have been. This woman went to the hospital so sounds like there should be evidence. These men should be in jail...for a long time.
  3. @OceanRidertrying to keep it all in 1 place...out of the other threads...tired of that too. Everyone wants to be heard.
  4. Please post the reason(s) you dislike Rhule, want him fired etc here rather than hijacking every thread. If your reason has already has been posted, please just pie the poster rather than repeat the same reason. That will help us compile a good list and keep the thread from being too long.
  5. Highlights for those of us who cannot listen anyone?
  6. It was business as usual it appears: Talib had several conduct-related issues during his NFL career. At the NFL rookie symposium in July 2008, Talib was involved in a fistfight with fellow Buccaneers rookie Cory Boyd.[82] In the early morning of June 5, 2016, Talib was shot in the leg outside a Dallas strip club. He was released from the hospital the same day.[83] It was later revealed that Talib falsified the report, having actually shot himself in the leg and lied to police, and that, while intoxicated, he never was at the strip club in question.[84][85] On August 20, 2009, Talib allegedly battered a taxi driver and he was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol and booked into the Pinellas County jail, charged with resisting arrest without violence and simple battery.[86][87] In March 2011, police in Garland, Texas issued a felony warrant for Talib for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he was accused of firing a gun at his sister's boyfriend.[88] He was later released on $25,000 bond. Talib was indicted on the charge in May 2011.[89] On June 18, 2012, the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence and credibility concerns with the accuser.[90] In August 2022, Talib's brother was wanted by police in Lancaster, Texas and turned himself in following the deadly shooting of youth football coach Michael Hickmon at a youth football game.[91][92][93] Youth football coaching staff and officials had gotten into a disagreement that became physical, which lead to the fatal shooting.[93][94] Witnesses said Aqib Talib had started the brawl that led to the fatal shooting of youth coach Michael Hickmon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aqib_Talib
  7. Good part of all of this is that both QBs handled this well. They both said all the right things. So far I am pleasantly surprised with Baker. We have not seen any of the stuff that we heard about from Cleveland. Just hope I am even more impressed with him on Sept 11.
  8. It is not how I feel but based on clinical training and experience.
  9. FYI-today he said he has done nothing wrong. Prognosis very poor. Also...want to say, if you are a fan of his I know this whole thing is very disappointing. I bought in when he cried those big tears, saying how much the team meant to him. Then...demanded a trade...nd now.... He has let a lot of people down who were pulling for him.
  10. There is a very good chance that most people can turn things around if they want to. There are some people who have issues/flaws that are so deeply seeded in their character...they will not get better. Psychiatry calls these personality disorders and Watson seems to fall somewhere on the narcissism antisocial spectrum. Now, they can learn to manipulate things in their favor...say the right things, modify behavior for a while to stay out of trouble. But, they do not truly change. Which is a sad thing.
  11. There is no help for him. He is who he is. Tepper wanted Watson to be the face of the franchise. Tells me all I need to know. Don't have much hope for him either.
  12. Wow, all the positive comments. Had to double check and make sure I was in the right fan forum.
  13. Well...it would be nice to get something for PJ. Would that be a bad thing to hope for?
  14. Great thread @Wundrbread33...nice to see something positive here.
  15. Hard to understand that decision making.
  16. I am on board with how they are handling the QB situation. From a team perspective I believe it is much healthier to let Baker earn the starting spot. Makes for a better locker room. Also, as someone said, the team needs to keep Sam engaged in a good way as we need him to be the backup. I know hating on everything Rhule is the fav sport here (and I am not a fan either) but I like what they are doing here.
