Well then you and SP as well as some incarcerated people probably have a lot on common.
-
Well...honesty, ethical behavior, not advocating assaulting behavior. I can see why you would be upset. Fortunately for you, Tepper seems to have no morals and those things seem to mean nothing to him.
-
Lots of good experience on both sides of the ball.

About Evero.... Anywhere you turn while examining Denver’s defensive roster, you’ll find a player who improved during Evero’s first season as a defensive coordinator. Evero has worked for some of the greatest defensive minds in football since entering the NFL as a quality control assistant with the Buccaneers in 2007, shortly after his college career as a safety at UC Davis ended. In Tampa Bay, Evero worked for defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin. Across stops to follow with the 49ers, Packers and Rams, Evero learned from Vic Fangio, Capers, Wade Phillips and Raheem Morris. \ https://theathletic.com/4089161/2023/01/16/ejiro-evero-nfl-head-coach-candidate/?source=dailyemail&campaign=601983 https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/EverEj0.htm Coaching History Year Age Level Employer Role 2004 23 High School Davis HS (CA) Assistant Coach 2005 24 College (FCS) UC Davis Assistant Coach 2006 25 College (FCS) UC Davis Assistant Coach 2007 26 NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers Def. What I thought. Hope they are in love. Poor Tepper...not sure his ego can take it. Hopefully he will get so depressed the football guys have to take over.
-
They just bought the team...how are they stable???? lol But...hope they win.

Was Evero's interview in person?
-
Just listened to a few minutes of Moving the Chains on Sirius while in my car. Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan both said with the issues or questions on the teams who have openings, they think Payton would be better off saying no to everyone. Take a look again next year.
-
You are fine. I probably wrote it too fast. Wanted to make a quick point. Did not want to write a long post. We have enough of those...lol.
-
Thank you. That is correct. We would not be the 1st team to do that across all kinds of pro sports. Looks like the Rams did it to themselves last year. Tampa is going to be terrible next year.
-
I never said that he planned to intentionally destroy the team.
-
Yes it is an assumption like just about everything else here. He will not coach the Panthers 16 years. (Note...he left NO 1 year after Brees did) There is no way to know if anyone here is right until after the fact. I just fear the quickie win at all costs plan which will cost the team for years. I could be wrong of course. Hopefully we don't find out.
-
I do not want Payton for a couple of reasons: 1. Character. He does not have it..we all know about that. 2. He is not interested in building a team for long tern success. He wants to come in, get his ring (or try) and leave the team in salary cap hell when he goes back to his cushy TV job and home in LA. I prefer a coach in this for the long term who can build the team for sustained success, not a 1 and done.
-
Well...guess Carolina was not his dream job. He must have gotten a big raise to stay with the Lions. But, who in the hell wants to live in Detroit any longer than they have too?
-
Maybe he just wants to make the Walmart guy spend more money.
-
Shanahan did that in the SB with the Falcons. Look at him now.
-
lol....I am sure she is not the only 1. 18-0 is a good lead but lots of game to play. Hoping for more of the same. GL

For those who ARE interested in Sean Payton...

Leverage. Playing 1 team against another. $$$$ -
Panthers receive permission to interview Sean Payton
ladypanther replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
16 seasons with the Saints. Won the SB in year 4. Could not get back there again. -
Oh dear....I sure hope she is wrong this time.

-
So, if that is where his heart is...why do the interviews??????
-
You would think he would be in Charlotte with his front office team with all these interviews.
