When I went to games I would focus on Keuchly before the snap...watching him get players lines up. It was amazing how often he moved a player to exactly where the ball went.

Gee I miss that guy.

Heard Fitt's interview yesterday on Moving the Chains on Sirius. He seemed to be gushing about Reich and the staff. Spoke about what a great person Reich is and a well respected football coach......"a good football guys." He said those qualities were why he was able to get the staff he did. Said he was able to "bring in the right people." Interviewers mentioned how impressive it was to get Jim Caldwell. Fitt said that Reich is "brutally honest but does it in the right way." Also said the Teppers were excited about the staff ...."This is a chance for us to change the direction of our franchise." Fitt really sounded happy and optimistic. He sounded relaxed. I bet the last 2 years were hell for him.

But is that because of what they are doing (like running)? Hard to actually compare apples to apples.

Too many variables to be able to draw any conclusions from that article but it is a good question. Would be nice to be able to focus in on QB's alone.

Fitt has gotten something for Zane, "Chosen", and Little. How good is that?

The Annual Fashion/New Uniform thread. This one may actually be a little news. Agree with most (although I admit I have only read the 1st couple pages)..just some smart updates. Nothing major. I loved the black helmets..would like to see them again..with a slight tweak to make "everyone" (yea right) happy.

Don't see Fitt wanting to go against the coaches at the end of things. 2 of them played the position...both for a long time. Now in the past, the recent past, could see that happening.

We now have one...draft could bring #2...learning curve for sure but start that now if the right guy is there. Also a factor is what things look like for next year. Have only heard ppl say that this year is a very good yr for TEs.

If, at that spot (whatever it is) TE is not BPA...and you are wanting one...then trade down. I am just saying that I believe it is a very valuable position.

A stud TE makes all the diff IMO. Where would KC be without Kelce? Shockey and Olsen were so good for this team made me wonder why we never tried to do that again. Get stud TE's, it makes the receiver room better and you never have to pay top dollar for a receiver...plug and play.

Since this is such a good year for TE's...do we draft out TE of the future? If so...where?

Liked Zane but his injuries were concerning. Was surprised when we heard he was going to be the kicker moving forward. Eddy hung in there last year....good for him.
