  1. Not as cool as @Khyber53 but new to me and I am excited. For a couple of years I was working remotely for a national company who was a large insurance broker. I was making an exit plan as I was just not liking some of the changes there were making. Did not feel right. Well, they beat me to it as they secretly were training overseas teams and when they got them trained they terminated several teams in my department. So I got to work on my new plan just a couple months earlier than expected. But, all is good. I am now a licensed life and health insurance agent and certified with Medicare. Lots of studying! I will say proudly that I passed all my state licensing exams on the 1st try. I am an independent contractor...meaning...I can do what I think is right and do not have anyone looking over my shoulder telling me I need to sell X amount of policies. I am contracted with a local brokerage (I've had insurance with them for years). The owner has become my mentor...he is great to work with. I plug in thru his software systems and he is so busy he and his staff are happy to send me referrals. I can work some from home...can come into the office as needed. No pressure. It is the perfect set up. Have some more training to do. BCBS has their own training...working on that now. Medicare season (Oct 15) will be here before you know it. I enjoy talking with people and I can just truly focus on helping them find what they need. It fits me I think. And, I am happy.
  2. The numbers in the column on the right are the team passing yards in the last 6 games. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2022.htm TMJ was not getting many targets...in the Tampa game...DJ was targeted 10 times and TMJ 3. There could be lots of reasons for this but you would have to consider poor QB play and poor coaching as two likely contributing factors. I want to see what he can do in this offense with this new coaching staff and with what certainly will be improved QB play. Not expecting WR1 because no one will be. The plan seems to be to spread the ball around.
  3. Thanks for responding. But you know, this site is not free. Ads are an online fact of life these days. Beats me having to pay for it.
  4. Diggs should go play with Rogers. They both want to run the team. Would be fun to watch.
  5. A big NO THANKS! Our new QB has to be able to develop as a leader and does not need a diva WR telling him what to do. The coaches also do not need a diva WR telling them what to do. Reich has said before that chemistry is important. Diggs does not Fitt in the house that Frank built.
  6. I am thinking that probably is not his fault. Hard to judge the potential of receivers here the past 2-3 years with such poor QB play, coaching.
  7. Did not mean to imply that you did. I am just saying merely starting players is not enough. Have no idea who said that he did not start rookies. Am excited to see how these players do this year with experienced NFL coaches and better schemes, game plans, etc. Defending Rhule is admirable I guess but you will not get much buy-in here for obvious reasons.
  8. The NFL has informed clubs that the supplemental draft will return and take place on July 11, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday. One prospect, Purdue wide receiver Milton Wright, has been confirmed to teams as eligible as of now. The original supplemental draft, held in 1977, was created to serve prospects who were not eligible for the annual spring draft for various reasons. The last player picked in a supplemental draft was safety Jalen Thompson, who was selected with a fifth-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals. He was the only selection that year. Thompson has been a starter for the Cardinals since his rookie year, recording 110 tackles last season. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-will-hold-supplemental-draft-for-first-time-since-2019
  9. Starting them and developing them are 2 different things.
  10. Charlton spent the 2022 offseason program and training cap with the Browns last year. He was waived in August. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Panthers in 2020. That season, he averaged 46.3 yards per punt and 40.8 net yards with 21 punts downed inside the 20. Charlton then played five games for Carolina in 2021 before he was released. He appeared in one game for Jacksonville and also spent time with Kansas City that year. Guess he got the yips after his 1st year.
  11. People with money always want more. He is rarely in Charlotte...spends most of his time in FL. And there's this: In 17 years as the team’s primary decision-maker, starting in 2006 even before he bought the team from Bob Johnson, Jordan’s team never won a single playoff series. Not a single one — in 17 seasons! Jordan became Charlotte’s majority owner in 2010, buying out Johnson. The thought at the time was his brand-name allure would be hard to resist for the best of the best free agents. After all, who wouldn’t want to play for Michael Jordan? It turned out that a lot of people didn’t want to. So Jordan’s reign as Charlotte’s most famous sports owner ever was ultimately a PR success but an on-court failure. Charlotte still has never won an NBA championship, made an NBA Finals or even made it to the Eastern Conference finals — and this is a team that’s now been around for 35 years. The best thing Jordan did as Charlotte’s owner was change the team’s nickname back to “Hornets,” from the ill-fated “Bobcats.” The latter name had produced both the NBA’s worst record by winning percentage — the cinematically awful 7-59 season of 2011-12 — and a bad taste in everyone’s mouth due to its association with Johnson, whose first name was Bob by some “random” chance and who wasn’t well-liked by much of anyone in Charlotte. It was cool for MJ to own his home-state team. We all liked that. The central figure of “The Last Dance” and “Air” was ours! But by the same token, the bloom was off the Jordan ownership rose in a lot of ways. While the Hornets still draw well and sell out more often than you would think, Jordan was rarely spotted in the arena in the 2022-23 season. His greatest present to the Hornets was often his presence. After all these years, his players and most of the fans in Spectrum Center remained in utter awe of him. But by the end, His Airness rarely granted Charlotte an audience. He seemed to be in Florida much of the time. I actually think a set of new owners isn’t a terrible thing from a sports standpoint. The star power in the owner’s box will no longer be there. But in terms of actually winning championships? The Hornets have nowhere to go but up. 13. Luxury high-rise kitty condo. That's awesome. She will have sooo much fun with that. I don't care what they say about you LG...you are a good dude!! And....kitty is growing so fast. How are the dogs doing with her? That last pic is so cute.
  14. Sounds like they ended mini camp a day early?
  15. It is a thing. $300 swim lessons for dogs. The latest indulgence for East End pups is pool time, complete with instructors, life jackets, inflatable toys and organized games. “There was a real demand for swimming lessons from the people who loved seeing their dogs so happy,’’ ...... there is a shop on the premises that sells water toys, life vests and canine sunscreen. No need to worry about picking up a soggy critter — dogs are given a coconut shampoo and conditioning before heading home. “We also provide a complimentary blowout. https://nypost.com/2023/06/14/swim-school-for-dogs-makes-a-splash-in-the-hamptons/
