Yep...offense lost that one. (Loved the way Rogers looked at the end of that game.) I am just saying, the defense had some flashes with a very young roster. I think any DC would have had quite the challenge last year. Considering what he had to work with, I think Snow had to be creative at times and did ok. This year we will see what he can do. I tend to be a glass half full person. There is more talent, last years rookies have experience...I am expecting some good things from this defense.

NFL fines Washington Football Team $10 million

And there is more: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/07/01/report-daniel-snyder-cant-resume-control-of-wft-without-approval-from-roger-goodell/ Like with his wife "in charge" he is not involved. -
Remember what the D did to the league MVP last year.

Did you read the article? Nothing says he is or has been a trouble maker.

https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article252177288.html Pretty much his story from childhood to now. Good football player and high character guy. “I’m somebody that believes in doing the right thing,” Hubbard said. “The thing is, I can be a vocal person, I can speak up when need be, and that’s just what I do.” He could have come out a season earlier and may have been picked earlier than the fourth round, but getting his diploma was a goal. Hubbard never missed a day of school growing up. For anything. The sound of fellow graduates cheering him on as he walked across the stage in Stillwater, Okla., to get his diploma a month ago meant so much to the Hubbard family, watching virtually, a country away, especially after some of the backlash he received for speaking out against his coach. “A big thing about me going to the States was obviously going to play football at a high level, but also going to mature as a young man and to get my education,” Hubbard said. “I wanted to make sure that I did that when I left. “ … I also wanted to show the kids that are gonna come after me, after everybody else, that school’s important. Football and all this stuff can take you a far way but education, and having that knowledge, is a different type of strength.”

Bell has shown that he has a very big ego but is not very smart (his holdout cost him way more than he could recover). I have little confidence in anything he has to say. It is a shame...he was a great talent who destroyed his career.

Soccer star heart gives out during Euro’s on front of all fans
ladypanther replied to Ja Rhule's topic in Huddle Lounge
What a horrible thing for his family to watch. -
Just watched the video. Like hearing about the kind of work he is putting in. Seems like a smart guy. Also found it interesting the emphasis Rhule has on the mental side of things. Hope Slye is very successful this year.

Tepper says "no way in hell" he'll build a dome
ladypanther replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have not been among those advocating for Charlotte to host a Super Bowl. It has been discussed here. Those in favor said we needed a dome. NY hosted a SB because of 911. There was a lot of anxiety about the weather. I am just saying if Tepper says no to a dome...he is not trying to attract a SB. The NFL seems to reward new stadiums with that. -

Wasn't that one of the reasons for talk of a dome? And people will come where ever the game is. -

I guess this means Tepper has given up on the idea of hosting a Super Bowl. -
Love hearing him speak. He is confident, enthusiastic and well spoken.

Only a few of us here still around to get that one.

It was sarcasm.

Oh no..they will have to cut someone at the bottom of the roster and it will be so upsetting...may put the season in jeapardy.

Tepper says "no way in hell" he'll build a dome

Didn't the city of Charlotte contribute several million dollars for upgrades that were just completed a year ago? I doubt they thought the stadium was falling down anytime soon. I do not see an appetite in the near future for a new stadium. -
Any ideas? Anyone?

That is so funny....and sad because he really said it.
