  1. With all the talk about tanking decided to look it up. Which positions are generally more successful. Wondering if the QB position falls here because so many teams are desperate and reach for a QB. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2441018-which-positions-are-the-safest-riskiest-at-the-top-of-the-nfl-draft
  2. As a fan, I cannot do that. Tanking sounds like a loser DNA.
  3. Sorry...when I started this I forgot it was Veterans Day. My apologies. As I said in an earlier post I am the daughter of a veteran and have lots of family members who have served. For those of you who have served and sacrificed for my freedoms, thank you.
  4. Thank you for your service. I am the daughter of a 21 yr Navy Vet.
  5. I did not see this posted. Last night the announcers mentioned Derrick Brown's work with veterans and his concern with homeless veterans in the community. You can go here to vote: https://www.nfl.com/causes/salute/nominees/2022/vote Deadline is Nov 30 and you can vote 1 time a day until then. Upon entering the NFL in 2020 following an All-American career at Auburn University, Carolina Panthers Defensive Tackle Derrick Brown was quick to give back to the military community. As the son of an Army service member, he saw firsthand the hard work and dedication it takes to be on the front lines. Brown has partnered with the United Service Organizations (USO) of North Carolina and supports the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) for the NFL's My Clause My Cleats initiative. Brown's military ties are personal, and he takes the sacrifices of others to heart. "We put in a lot of hard work and dedication on the field but at the end of the day, we aren't on the front lines," said Brown. "We thank these men and women, and everyone else who's served. Salute to Service for me is a time to recognize men and women serving right now, going overseas, and keeping us safe at home. This is our time to recognize and honor them." Brown continues his on-going support for military personnel through providing meal service relief for veterans facing food insecurity. He also engages with service members during annual training camp visits, as well as other morale-boosting events supporting military personnel in the Carolinas.
  6. Black helmets were great......they were simple and bad. Love that all black look. Those chin straps though...got to be black or blue.
  7. Winning a national game....great. Now...just got to figure out how to beat someone outside the NFC South. Come on Wilks...you can do this!!!
  8. This team has improved each week. PJ needs to put together 2 good halves of football. Feed the new beast-Foreman and keep getting TMJ involved. Also, what was with all those penalties? I am sure that was a point of emphasis this week (not by making player run laps) Chance for the D to have a sack fest. Staying positive here.

  10. Yea, but that was not trying to get up to 1 or 2. Not sure the guys that may go there are worth the risk when you might find a stud at another position. I would rather pass...and maybe trade up later in the 1st if there is someone our hot new OC loves.
  11. Too expensive top trade up to get what is in this year's draft. I would rather trade up later.
  12. Really bored now. I work from home but it is my Saturday to work. Am from Tenn so really interested in the game this afternoon. Work till 5, but I do have a TV I can look at with the sound muted. Panther spread now at +7 for Sunday. I think it will be closer.
