Report. Panthers pivoting from Shane Steichen

It is about the right fit...sometimes just the right time at the right place. Like I said before, if Reich is the one...not the sexy hire but I will hope for the best. He is smart. His 1st gig as HC was in an organization with a drugged out crazy man as an owner. Makes Tepper look pretty good. I want to see Fitt and Morgan get to run a real GM office. It would be a cool thing that he was our 1st QB...but of course not why he gets the job. He has family here so likely would be a preferred destination for him. Heck, his daughter now works for the Panthers. A place he would like to be, a chance to write his story. Might just be the right fit. I do see him improving the team, developing a QB and dare I say...getting b2b winning seasons. Step 1.

Rhule says he regrets throwing Cam under the bus

What an idiot.....I also call BS. -
That's not what 2nd interviews are for...IMO.
-
We do not know that about any of the interviews.
-
I just don't understand your issue with the zoom thing. Have been working via zoom for quite a while. Do not see any problems. It is all about the quality of what you say. What I would say would not vary whether it is zoom or in person. It is a conversation.
-
I have no problem with the zoom interview thing. The candidate is based on their responses. Zoom or in person does not change that. Plus,,,the bozo in the room last time (in person mind you) was Hurney. Tepper new and too gullible.
-
That's what interviews are for...to narrow down the picks. If the Panthers were not impressed enough to think those guys might be ready, no need to waste anyone's time.
-
That was my 1st thought too.
-
Might be a good move for him. Especially with the new GM he has and if Flores lands there.
-
Romo seems to have gotten full of himself and lazy. Greg is very smart, seems to be a hard worker, and a fairly humble guy. Don't think he will quit taking this seriously. He seems very professional.
-
Wonder if Flores would actually want to go to Arizona after what the did to Wilks. Unless the new GM is making a big difference. Flores with Murray would be a fun show to watch based on the stuff we heard out of Miami.

-
No, but he was the idiot in the last round of HC interviews.

Insane amounts of money does strange things to some people's brains.
-
You have forgotten, Hurney is gone. You've got to get over that. I know it is hard...lol
-
Yea, and even though they were doing very well he could not stand it....lol

Just can't see jerry Jones giving up ANY control.

Olsen: “This looks like my flag football team" Has anyone ever seen a play like this before? “Never,” texted one former head coach and offensive coordinator when I sent him that question with the video clip. https://theathletic.com/4118977/2023/01/23/dallas-cowboys-season-playoffs/ Super Bowl champ Jimmy Johnson has one-word tweet to describe Cowboys' final play: Tweet Jimmy Johnson @JimmyJohnson Dumb…..

Can't see him in college, but I could be wrong. Someone in the future may give him that total control thing and the money but he may have to be less picky about the ownership. Maybe Washington next year. They might be cleaning house. I hear Bezos is interested in buying that team. He won't miss the money and might like to make a splash.

As we understand it, only four coaches remain under contract: head coach Mike McCarthy, offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, and defensive passing game coordinator/secondary coach Joe Whitt Jr. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/24/most-cowboys-coaching-contracts-have-expired/
