  2. League Year Starts today.(March 15 at 4 p.m. ET): This marks the official start of the 2023 NFL league year, and it ends the tampering period. NFL free agency officially opens and both players and agents are allowed to speak directly and negotiate with teams on potential new contracts. Any contracts that have been agreed upon in the last two days can officially be signed.
  3. If Rogers goes to the jets he will want to call the plays.

  5. We have a new GM. Until now, it was Rhule.
  6. Looks like a pretty good days' work Fitt.

  8. Young was eating donuts and pizza to get that weight up.
  9. If the Broncos do not want him on a rookie deal...no thanks.
  10. Good thing is that we have 2 coaches who have played the position, one fairly recently. They should have some good insights into evaluating the QBs. Even though we all have opinions and arguments, I am going to trust these guys. I don't see them taking a gamble with the pick. As Fitt said a few weeks ago..."if you trade up for your QB you better be right."
  11. I think Bama listed him at 6'. Truth came out at combine.
  12. He is the logical choice. He has the best or 2nd best upside with the fewest downsides/risks. For example if Stroud were to get hurt...it is bad luck. if Young gets hurt...well,,,that was an initial concern with him and bad decision.
  13. If Stroud is the pick, and does not develop into a franchise QB....that would be on Stroud. Anyone else, it is the coaches/gm failure for the wrong decision.

  15. Anyone been looking on any Bears fan forums and see what they are saying? Just curious. (Don't know what their best forum is)
  16. I understand the Panthers wanting to get this done, but why didn't Chicago wait? I would think there would have been a bidding war as teams identified the QB they wanted and Chicago could have gotten higher draft picks. They did acquire a vet WR before free agency but while he is talented, I do not see DJ as so valuable not to have waited. What are the Bears fans saying about this? Going from 1 to 9 is a big drop off for them.
