  1. One thing to also consider about him....will he demand his way again in a new setting? I know Texas is/was a mess but they were also a mess when he signed his contract and cried because of the faith the team had put into him. Don't want that (and don't want the other baggage) and what we would have to give up. Can't imagine the Panthers would want him to be the face of the franchise. Trust Fitt to keep building this team.
  2. I am excited about this guy. Can't wait to see his 1st big block. Bet he surprises the heck out of someone.
  3. Hmmm. So what are some reasons a person would not be able to remember something like that?
  4. Anyone know anything about his agent? I sure that is a big factor in all this.
  5. 1st time I have seen this game since the original. Forgot that the Panthers had an 11 point lead late into the 4th qtr and blew it. Good ole Foxy...lol.
  6. Thanks for the heads up...just saw this but now watching. What a game!!
  7. Heard a few minutes of Polian tonight on Sirius NFL radio. Said...1)nothing gets done without a deadline and expects contracts to go down to the wire and also...2)with the tags being so high today....agents are advising their clients to take the tag if they are not getting what they want. Player taking the risk of course. If it goes that way not too concerned.
  8. Lots of interesting story lines on so many players and positions. Jeremy, as this is the 1st training camp for the coaching staff and FO I would like to know how you think it compares to previous camps. Also, in the past, you have had a good feel for the season based the feel at camp. With a lot of young players I would expect a lot of energy but certainly it has to work. So as camp winds down...what is your take on the team this year?

  12. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31751787/how-hospital-former-carolina-panthers-te-greg-olsen-helped-build-saved-son-tj-life I actually learned a couple of things about transplants here. And more kudos to Greg and his wife for working to raise awareness on this issue. Also good info on the medical staff and all the work they are doing there. Maybe the most worthwhile thing David Newton has written.
  13. That's a problem here. People saying things about people that they just make up. Next person takes it as truth and.... I would expect these negotiations to go down to the wire. Moton wants as much as he can get...(who wouldn't) and Fitterer is working the cap. Complicating things is that they may also be negotiating position. But we do not know that for sure. This is not the same ownership and Front Office that we are used to here. I am not making any judgements yet and I am going to trust that Fitt has a plan.

It will be interesting to see how long he lasts given his history.
