Shelton was supposed to be the new Stephen Davis. Wonder what his deal was. -

I've been a fan of the team since inception when I was a boy. Biakabatuka was my favorite player and my first jersey (I still have it). He had the talent to be an exceptional player, sorta similar situation Horn is in. -
wtf

This guy used to be a beast. Hopefully he can help us.
-
It does suck though because Moore would be awesome with Bryce.
-
Bryce already showed more poise and courage than Teddy did in one game. They might be similar philosophically but they aren’t the same guy. Teddy was literally screen pass, check down, or throw the ball away. At least Bryce attempted going deep to Mingo and TMJ.

Damn yeah he had Theilen and Mingo open.

Bro don't speak it into existence. -
I don't have the best feeling about this game. With Horn out it's a perfect opportunity for the secondary to get embarrassed. Refs will rig the game for the Saints like they always do and let their line hold Burns and Co so they can make bullshit splash plays. We'll lose by 10 and the media will crown David Carr and the Saints. Same story different QB.

He needs to come back and stay healthy the rest of the year. Otherwise, we have no choice but to part ways. -

Were the refs eating Dan Quinn's ass on the sidelines?

Some positive and critical thoughts on yesterdays game
OneBadCat replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
The positive was that in actuality we were the better team yesterday. We just killed ourselves with the turnovers. I also thought that despite his stature Bryce Young didn't look that small to me. I liked that he threw across the middle, showed some escape ability. Hated the INTs but he is a rookie. I suspect that second INT was Bryce trying to bait Bates. If so, I actually like the arrogance there. I thought his arm looked pretty good, though I wish he connected on those deep balls. I do worry about him already being close to his ceiling, and that there might be something to him playing overly structured and predictable in that sense. BUT I thought he looked pretty competent out there. The offensive line looked great, and defense overall was very good. Sanders fumble is what lost us the game. That was going to be a TD drive. -
I thought maybe Bryce was trying to be cute on the second one. Like he was trying to bait Bates.
-
I think he looked alright. His picks looked identical because I think he was trying bait the safety. He took the first one personally. I don’t doubt his ability to process the field. But I do wonder if that truly gives us an edge at the end of the day vs more physically gifted players .

The Panthers conceding defeat with nearly four minutes on the clock.
OneBadCat replied to Growl's topic in Carolina Panthers
Teddy was a coward of a QB. I don’t see that in Bryce yet. But we’ll see. We moved the ball decently. We just should taken the 3 points and not put that kind of pressure on Bryce. -

That’s a bit premature . -
He’s basically a niftier Nick Goings.

Are they better without ref boost though?

These types of Referee blunders are 100% unacceptable
OneBadCat replied to KillerKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s because the NFL makes money anyway and they don’t care. And because the refs are stubborn POS’s that don’t like being told they are wrong.
