I think it’s possible that Chark isn’t running a 4.3 anymore. Mingo and TMJ are still discovering themselves in their route running. Im not a QB excuse guy but as you say the Texans arent a talent juggernaut. I think it’s speaks to how weak we are at the perimeter. Bryce doesn’t have a rocket arm but the faith isn’t there to take the chance and that was evident last week when Chark played volleyball with that 40+yd pass.

I’m leaning towards it being more team talent. Why did we look so much better last week? I mean we won by the skin of our ass and force feeding AT while Bryce is escaping the pocket. We barely beat a 500 team. Until today Bryce was improving each week. I think we really can’t evaluate him until we have some consistent speed at WR and a line that doesn’t get destroyed every play. I say this as someone who wanted Stroud. But you can tell the talent is there in Bryce when the teams are more evenly matched.

Why aren’t we running more behind the center like last week ?

I’ve put plenty of blame on his short comings this year but the offensive line, in this game especially is just making it impossible to have a functioning offense.

Man I’ve been a Bryce skeptic all year but you can’t put this on him. The line is getting destroyed on every drop back. That pick was him guessing his read because he was rushed too quickly.

O line is just getting crushed every play. Can’t put it on him today.

I put a lot of it on execution. We had some of the worst drop passes all year that were drive killers.

Probably and underrated aspect of what’s been going on .

We need to keep our assets and see if our own guys can make the leap in their development.

I keep trying to find up close replays of it. It like the ball just got sucked into Adam's arms like some weird madden play.

Losing Byrd is was a really underrated loss for us. I think he had a shot at a really solid year with us combined with Bryce’s out of pocket play.

Samuel while not a #1 could be an interesting get for us. Pairing him with Bryce's out of pocket magic might be pretty dangerous.

Hopefully Mingo takes this game and runs with it to a strong season. That drop was brutal and we’ve had multiple moments like that this year. Drops that no doubt could have put points on the board and wins in the column.

Nah Bryce needs a vet he discuss the game with and already has a relationship with Dalton. I don’t think we’re gonna consider moving him until the end of the year if not further .

He has improved week to week and has alleviated a lot of my concerns. We gotta figure something out with the o line though, he can’t be taking hits like that . I’m also hoping this win will get our guys playing with more confidence, the WRs in particular. Also for the love of god stop calling shotgun on 3rd and goal with 1 yard to score.

I just noticed Tepp and Fitt in there. I guess they wanted to be there for Bryce’s first win. It would be kind of weird though if Tepp is in there all the time.

I think he will rebound in time but it might not be a bad move to see with some snaps Moton at LT. He’s had the best stint at the position since Oher was here. Bryce can’t be taking these kinds of hits .
