Burns sucks. Stanley McGlover was more effective. -

Every 4th and 1 between the 20’s should be a pass and if Bryce doesn’t like it then he scrambles for 1 yard. -

Damn bro no run defense -
Idk on one hand I do see where Fitt has made mistakes, but I can also appreciate that he is aggressive in attaining the HC's vision. I think that's partially why he looks bad, because Rhule wanted ass players, and he got them for him. Historically our GM's have been conservative with the purse, or always trying to find some hidden gem draftee. Or kicking needs down the road, Scott at least at attempts to address them.

For the record if we’re gonna poo on Cam for not diving on a ball when he was anticipating a bounce, and when the result would have been 4th and 25th and the game rigged out of sight for Manning’s retirement party… Then perhaps we can equally say Jake Delhomme was as selfish for throwing 5 picks on a stacked team and not pulling himself when his back up was proven to be better than him at the time. I’m not an asshole defending the best QB this team has ever fielded from ignorance and trolls spewing the same crap for the last 8 years.
-
Jake had his time but Cam was a much better player and more cerebral than him too which will ruffle some feathers. Jake was successful because he had very underrated arm talent. He could force throws he should have never made but he got away with it more often than not because he had a HOF at WR and stud in Moose. Cam on that 08 team is undefeated

That’s the thing . I think he’s getting away with it now because he does have elite anticipation. But he needs to develop some more and work on his fastball so to speak. It is possible he could improve on it with strength training.

Seems like he’s pretty solid in the intermediary passing levels but we don’t have the consistent speed to give him the big openings he wants to throw deep confidently. Thats on him also too. He doesn’t play QB like an idiot which is a positive. I think it’s a matter of him connecting on these deep shots and building some muscle in the offseason so he can be sturdy in the pocket and increase his arm strength a bit.

It’ll blow my mind if we get a TD here

The Athletic: Is this the worst Panthers team of all time.
OneBadCat replied to Tbe's topic in Carolina Panthers
Clausen is probably the worst QB of all time. I've never seen a QB literally refuse to throw downfield. That said had Moore started the entire season that probably looks like a much better team. The 2010 team still had Double Trouble, a speedy Mike Goodson, Smitty, David Gettis, and Lafell. -
Falcons vs. Panthers: The bar has been set low for Bryce Young
OneBadCat replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think if he starts making a leap forward it will happen this weekend. He's finally starting to get aggressive and playing loose with the football. He just unfortunately missed on those deep shots. Hopefully he'll start hitting some of those Sunday. -
I think he played some of his best ball yesterday. He show a lot of heart and mobility getting yards on the ground. The drops kept killing our momentum though. I get that he missed the deep throws but I personally felt like a light was starting to come on yesterday. He was getting aggressive and brave with the football. The fact that he was going deep at all was an oh poo moment for me. Maybe I’ve set my standards too low. But we outplayed the Saints most of the game yesterday and I’m really curious to see if we’ll continue to see this version of Bryce. He’s gotta hit those bombs in stride but at least he wasn’t under throwing them. If he connects on those then all of the sudden he looks like a much different player.

See you next week.

Maybe there’s lead in my water but i honestly thought he played his ass off today. This was the most positive performance I’ve seen from him all year. Multiple drives were killed by WRs today. He showed way more mobility in the pocket and moved the chains with his legs. Yes he missed the deep shots but he at least overthrew them and took chances. We haven’t seen that all year. I want to see more of this aggressive version of Bryce. I defended Cam for being put in similar poo situations and I’ll die on this hill today. Bryce showed more today than he has all year.
