  1. Hope Chinn pick 6’s him and stiff arms him into the turf as the last play of his career.
  2. 3 1st rounders, 1 second round pick, CMC or Brian Burns, + Shaq
  3. That would be amazing if they would take it though. Deshaun has the leverage though if he refuses to play then it may cost less than we think.
  4. It may not cost as much as we think if he's going to refuse to play. Definitely multiple firsts. But I'm hoping we don't have to lose both CMC and Burns.
  5. I think with Rhules ability to get his guys to overachieve we can succeed without multiple first rounders. But getting Watson and losing Burns, and CMC, or Brown, plus picks would a big gut punch. We have to be able to keep Burns or CMC or the loss is too steep.
  6. The game has become so athletic now that I don’t think overtrading is worth it but Watson is a really good blend of natural talent and QB skills. I’m sure he would want to play with CMC. So I think you either package some firsts with Burns or you bite the bullet and trade CMC and then resign Samuel. But you don’t trade both of those cats. CMC has a shot at the HOF and Burns is the best pass rusher we’ve had since Hardy.
  7. It’s just amazing that Miami would trade for Watson after just drafting Tua. This is a new NFL,
  8. So long as we keep one of Burns or CMC I think we’ll be alright. This stuff about trading two firsts with CMC, Burns, and Robby Anderson is wack though. That only works if we get picks in return as well. I’m talking multiple second and thirds.
  9. What if Cam beat his face in. Streetbeefs Cam edition
  10. I think if we trade CMC then resigning Samuel becomes a priority. Bringing back Mike Davis would be a plus.
  11. Easy to have a good passer rating when you check down every fuggin play. Can’t fool me
  12. Would rather lose Burns than Chinn. We have a terrible history drafting Safety’s. Chinns the first blue chip one we’ve had since Mike Minter.
  13. I thought he was becoming a decent player but the concussions kept stunting his development
  14. On the flip side though. I always wanted Cam behind center more often. I think he could have shined in a traditional offense if Rivera didn’t go for the quickest route to success. He limited what the offense could do when we relied so heavily on RPO. We got predictable. 2011 When Cam was a rookie was a ton of fun because Chud and Cam took it as a challenge to air it out. We did a lot of single back and I formations that year.
  15. Definitely the top one based on personnel but I don’t trust John Fox with Cam Newton. Even Rivera was more innovative than Fox was.
  16. Smith is a HOF lock. His broadcasting career will seal it. But he has 20,000 all purpose yards, triple crown winner with 14k receiving yards. He’s got the numbers. He’s also a phenomenon at 5’9 and the eye test tells you he’s better than his contemporaries were. Who would you take in their prime over Steve Smith? Moss, Rice, Megatron, Julio, TO on his best day, maybe AB for certain. Then it gets debatable. He was pound for pound better than Reggie Wayne, Holt, Harrison, Fitzgerald, Welker, Roddy White, Andre Johnson was close. He deserves to get in for what he accomplished with his lack of support in Carolina.
  17. 3 Firsts and CMC would a steep price to pay. I’d want this years third and fifth at least on top of Watson.
  18. Getting rid of the best weapon in the NFL is a mistake. They get rid of CMC then they better lock up Curtis Samuel
  19. Would a decent stop gap experiment for a 2nd rounder. Wouldn’t want to pay anymore though.
  20. I don’t think it’s a grand conspiracy. It’s more the refs being indignant and subconsciously biased. Like CRA said, “You’re not old enough to get that call.” That’s a huge red flag. How many times did Denver headshot Cam, 3-4 blatant times I can recall. That’s 3 PFs that would result in first downs. You don’t think that changes the game? Or the fact that officials will routinely throw ticky tack “make up” calls after making a huge mistake the play before. That is also rigging the game through incompetence. Or when the NFL finally allows some penalty’s to be challenged, what do the refs do? They essentially boycott the rule and refuse to overturn the calls on the field. Why? Because they hate being called out. The only way they solve the problem is to allow PI and personal foul to be challengeable.
  21. Sure but nudging the game is as bad as outright rigging it. That’s how they get away with it.
