I think Grier won the battle with this last game but I think we should keep both of them to be honest. Walker has the skills to keep us competitive and Grier is actually showing good potential for the first time. Should Darnold get hurt or crumble, it's worth having them both around to evaluate.

You think this guy's bad? Imagine all the low class "old school" refs that thought the same way as he does and let Cam headhunted for 3 years. I feel for Cam. Maybe if he had been drafted a few years later he would be allowed to unabashedly be himself and not be punished for it by the media and the league.

Encouraged but you can tell he has nerves and happy feet to work through. He also hesitates some of his throws like he has to double check to make sure someone is open before he throws it. I think he could be good when he gets settled though. I think he’s gonna have a couple games where emotions are high and he gets pressure in his face and he’ll throw some picks. How he responds to that will say everything. I wouldn’t mind keeping PJ and Grier this year just in case he completely crumbles. I don’t want that to happen but if it does Walker has shown he can keep us competitive and we can answer some questions finally with Grier .
