    I hope we get a stud FS but to be honest we probably won’t need one with the man coverage ability our CBs have. Burris is a solid option that got progressively better. Not saying I don’t want an upgrade but it probably won’t be realistic for us to have blue chip players at every position on D.

    I think this years secondary has been aiding the pass rush. Which isn’t something you could really say for prior teams. 2013’s 4 man front was probably the best we’ve seen in terms of consistent in your face pressure. This years team has a better rush in totality if you factor in the talent plus the scheme.

    Damn man. Arnold made some nice catches. Really hope Tremble and Thomas are up to the task. We are going to be overloaded at CB when Horn comes back. Not sure what the plan will be there.

    Overall talent is better. But Cam and Luke Keuchly were trump cards.

    This unit can be better overall than the 2015 defense. However situationally 2015 is superior because they had prime Luke Keuchly making all of the right adjustments before the snap. The 2021 defense is like an upgraded 2013 squad with better corners, and a better safety, minus Luke.

    Can’t wait to have them on the ropes only for them to press the ref boost button like always. I’m sure Drew Candyass will be there too, and broadcast in our own fuggin stadium courtesy of FOX. I want us to curb stomp them but I have a feeling I’m just going to get pissed off because they always win on some bullsht.

    I disagree. Darnolds throw took more anticipation and threw while on the move in the pocket. Sam threw the ball ahead of Robby being open.

    I’m talking about the second half when telegraphed every play to CMC. If Darnold is really the guy then we’re gonna have to lean on him at some point to put the game away. This should have been a blowout victory.

    I think they got scared that Darnold would make a mistake so they fed CMC in the second half. Really wanted to see them trust him to throw the daggers needed to put them away early. Hopefully the sheltering won’t last all season.
