Nothing has happened to him that would accelerate his deterioration in speed or burst. His injuries have come from fatigue and playing him nearly every snap.

CMC hasn’t suffered a career threatening injury the way Cam has. Cam would have been fine if the refs weren’t ignorant as fug and didn’t allow to him to be headhunted and targeted. CMC is still pound for pound the player he was in 2018. Cam is lighter than he was, with less burst and an arm that is maybe 80% of what it should be on a good day. CMC isn’t breaking down. It’s just not normal to have the RB get the ball 95% of the snaps.

Nice overreactions in this thread. CMC is an absolute beast. We win the last the two games with him in there. Hes not injury prone the problem is we give him the balL every snap. That’s what has to change .

If hes a passable run blocker then hopefully we can rotate him in.

The problem is that he was dumb enough to send this content to another professional in the NFL. It wasn't like it was a personal email to a friend or a text. He felt privileged enough to say this stupid poo to some good old boys in an NFL FO's. I'm willing to bet he's not the only one guilty of such things. If the NFL is to be highest standard then his ass definitely deserves to be canned.

Except Cam did overcome bad OL play for most of his career here. Save his last two years with injury, and one game where the NFL allowed him to be headhunted so Peyton Manning could get his retirement trophy.

I don’t remember Cam having a worse game. Delhomme yes Moore no Clausen yes because he’s the worst QB of all time Teddy yes out of sheer cowardice I do agree though we need to see if he can respond.

I still believe in Rhule. Today was a meltdown but it was primarily down to execution more than it was scheme. Darnold failed today. 3 boneheaded picks and 3 overthrows on chainmovers. You can’t coach around that. Nor can you force Robby to catch the ball. Or for Chubba to suddenly have a 4th gear. The offensive line was yet again poor but the plays were there to win the game. I don’t see how you can blame that on coaching. The special teams block was unacceptable but we should have been up 17 by that point anyway. The defense played phenomenal overall. Really can’t blame them at all.

We had no business losing this game. We are straight up the better team. The plays were there to win the game. Sam was horrible today. It just is what it is. Either he steps up and blossoms or we don’t win until we get CMC and Shaq back.

Silver lining? The better team lost. But why we lost is horrible and inexcusable.

The offensive line is a known problem I agree. The source of our team woes is that we can’t generate any push in the running game. We cant break any big runs or make 3rd and shorts without CMC. But the other issue is that we just showed the rest of the league that we can’t rely on Darnold either to pick up the slack. Those overthrows he made cost us our momentum. All he had to do what deliver on a few of those throws. He just showed us that he’s probably not the guy. A franchise QB doesn’t throw picks like that at any stage. He’s also not a rookie anymore as much as we like to pretend that he is. We can win with him at full strength but I don’t see us winning anymore games until then because Darnold is just missing throws he has no room to not make. I want him to succeed and he did have a clutch throw before the Robby drop, but still a better QB would have iced this game in the 3rd quarter because the plays were there. Thats why Cam was able to carry a weak team, that’s why Rodgers consistently owns.

Darnold sails 3 third down conversions and throws 3 undeniably dumb picks. Blames OC. Sure bro.
