    This is probably the worst defense this team has ever fielded. Probably the most injury riddled as well.

    Your first paragraph I agree with but Teddy was a stat padding coward who never threw the ball down field. He sucked monumental ass here. He was super saiyan Jimmy Clausen.

    Bryce is more clutch than those guys. Give him the same rosters and he would take them farther. Sam’s going to throw a game changing INT in the playoffs. Baker will probably do the same. Both of those teams aren’t going to the Super Bowl.

    But for us to make it competitive and win we needed TDs. That is how dire the situation is on defense. We’re on our 3rd string back who’s a KR. The defense had two stops in them before getting gassed and breaking completely. Even then they only got them because the field was short and could tighten up.

    I think we were just put into a tough position. We had to answer every drive with a TD to make this a competitive game. Today really highlighted how good Chubba is. He’s not elite athletically but his vision is top of the league. They didn’t run the ball because they don’t trust Blackshear. The defense is completely depleted of talent. No coaching around that.

    Chubba has elite vision. The difference is pretty apparent in Blackshear.

    I think the offense will be rolling if we sign a good WR in FA. First round needs to be on the defensive line.

    Eddie has sucked for a long time. No clutch factor and doesn’t have the leg for long kicks. He’s effectively worthless when you need him most. We need to take the best kicker in the draft.
