Marvin Harrison Jr skips his media presser
OneBadCat replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean who really gives a poo about a presser if he can ball -
I’d take a shot on Saquan if we could get him cheap enough.
-
He definitely was. But idk, who’s to say a quicker and lighter player like a TE may fair better against Peppers on occasion. But Peppers also blocked FG’s , intercepted passes, scored TDs, forced fumbles, played TE sometimes. There’s no comparison. The best DE this team ever fielded since Peppers was Greg Hardy no contest. Shame he was a psycho.
-
You know Peppers would disappear sometimes but at least he established himself as a monster first. Burns is a taller Everette Brown. He has one move and his legs are tree limbs. He gets bullied in the run game. He should take the tag and prove himself.
-
I actually do think he’ll be able to improve his velocity with another 10-15lbs of muscle. He throws it far enough but he has to be able to drive the ball better.

So which one of you hillbillies is Forrest Quinn?

Gotta give credit where it’s due -
Kind of makes you wonder the level of entry to the NFL at certain positions. Maybe at QB it’s more muddled water. But it seems like if you were good in Highschool with some athletic talent and the ability to throw 60 yards and not be a moron in college you could potentially make 500k- 1 million until the league figured out you were a scrub.

DeShaun Foster was my favorite player for a time outside of Smitty. It would have been interesting to see how his career would have gone had he not broken his ankle. We desperately needed him in the NFCCG. I also think we never really saw how good he could have been even in 03. He also fractured his knee and had cartilage issues the season before, and I think that might have capped his speed.

This one was bad luck. The muffed punt blew the game. They were positioning themselves perfectly to win up to that point.
-
The 49ers were the better team but that muffed punt killed them.
-
Can you win by FG in OT?
-
That’s some lucky ass bullshit
-
San Fran is just a better team all around

This is shaping up to be a Panthers vs Patriots SB
-
That’s a weak ass penalty

Hell of a game so far

Chicago sun times: Julius Peppers selected to hall of fame
OneBadCat replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Steve Smith is probably the most underrated WR of all time, yet still he is considered a HOF. He was better than Fitzgerald, Wayne, Harrison, Holt, and Bruce. The only difference is how little 89 was targeted vs his contemporaries. It’s actually kind of astonishing when you look it up. Hes consistently targeted 30-40, sometimes 50 times less than these other guys. Had Smitty got to play with Manning, Warner, or Brady for any stretch of his prime he would have broken some records and flat out embarrassed some of these dudes. -
God damn those refs for rigging SB 50. Seriously god damn them.

He would be a cancer if Bryce struggles.
-
He has enough distance but he lacks the velocity. He relies too much on the perfect timing and ball placement. Gotta see if weight training can improve it to some degree.
-
Is this you? Just genuinely curious.

I’d like to bring them back to see what the new staff can do with them. No expectations however.

He's more valuable to us if he pans out than if he pick up some scraps on a trade.
