Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
OneBadCat replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Hardy gets suspended for 12 games he wouldn't have been worth resigning anyway. We would have lost too much money for him. -
How many time do you wear jeans before washing them?
OneBadCat replied to j2sgam's topic in Huddle Lounge
Same. I go forever without washing them unless there is an obvious stain. It's not that important to me and my jeans don't usually smell because I bath pretty regularly. -
Todd Gurley to visit with the Panthers
OneBadCat replied to TylerVagyler's topic in Carolina Panthers
I love me some McCoy but the Murrary contract was still dumb. He doesn't do anything overly exceptional and you're likely to only get 2 good years out of him before you consider replacing him again. Stewart is better by the eye test in my opinion. -
NFL Source: Saints having a complete fire sale
OneBadCat replied to RelaxImaPro's topic in Carolina Panthers
Someone tell me what good Drew Brees is ? For all his volume stats it means nothing for all the times he's crumbled in crucial moments. He doesn't strike fear in anybody. And all of you guys know what I'm talking about. Maybe it's because we are divisional rivals with the Saints but Brees does not scare me at all. -

NFL Source: Saints having a complete fire sale
OneBadCat replied to RelaxImaPro's topic in Carolina Panthers
You mean truth you don't want to hear. Brees is not top 5 anymore and barely has been. When the going gets tough the guy has become Jake Delhomme and cost you football games. If you don't want to accept that then that's fine because the Panthers will continue to beat the poo out of your worthless team regardless. -

Lets stop crowning Brees for five seconds. When the refs don't fug us we straight up own his ass. He doesn't deserve to be a hall of famer. This guy has never been as hard to face as Brady or Manning or even Big Ben. To be completely honest Brees is an exploitable QB on a stat padding offense and I wouldn't be surprised if his overrated ass was on the trade block too. He's a whiney pussy and deserves no respect -
Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle

He literally just needs to be a little better than Byron Bell for us to have massive improvement as a team. -
Rumor: Panthers, Titans, and Eagles Contact Michael Crabtree
OneBadCat replied to rscott94's topic in Carolina Panthers
I dont trust Crabtree. He might be just good enough for us because we have KB but to me he doesn't seem like someone to rely on. But with Ginn back it could make an all around good WR core. -
It's hilarious to see some of the criticisms of KB on this forum. Bitching about his drops and doubting his ability as a #1 WR when he put up a 1000 yds as a rookie. Have we ever had a WR do that?
-
Yep. Really pisses me off to hear those idiots. Makes us all look bad.

I think it's a smart move for the Eagles. RB's don't last that long and you don't want to throw more money at him when you could just as easily trade him and address a need. Then fill his role with cheaper options.
-
That was fugging badass.
-
Would love to get him back. I guess it depends if GMan thinks he can draft a guy for that role or not.
-
Hope he finds a good suitor. I know he still has some juice in him. Greatest Panther RB.

Panthers and Cam Newton in contract talks
OneBadCat replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Cam will get his. But will also consider the team in his contract. He's been playing with a crap o-line for most of his career because the cap space isn't there. He's smart guy that probably understands that.- 218 replies

Panthers and Cam Newton in contract talks
OneBadCat replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cam deserves every right to pass on a Kap type deal. He has proven he is better and can carry an offense. Colin is a flawed QB where Cam is more complete despite his issues.- 218 replies

Luke is on a HOF path. Cam is too but he's on that make or break moment soon. Luke is a better player at his position but Cam is more important.

Those putting DeShaun Foster as all time worst are just hating on him for not panning out. He had legit top 10 talent. HIs career was ruined by injuries much like other Panther RB's. Sure he was a disappointment but the ability was there for a time. Foster. Deangelo, TIm B and Stewart are probably the most talented RB's we've ever drafted and you can make an argument that each one is a bust. Personally the worst has to be either Smart or Robinson if you put them in a starting role. At least Foster could take it to the house in his prime.

Has Voth changed his opinion of Hardy's future?
OneBadCat replied to Nick_81's topic in Carolina Panthers
I dont think the debate is whether it is ethical to bring him back. The question is: Is the defense that much better with him on the field vs what it would look like without him? Keep in mind this defense was top 5 when they finished the year. Having Hardy would obviously take them to a new level of unprecedented dominance. But would it be necessary given the other contracts we will need to tend to? I think that's what's going through G-mans head. Everyone knows the suspension was BS. -
Every year the strength of schedule flips it's head when the season rolls around. I don't buy it. AFC South may very well become decent competition.

I think he's definitely worth keeping. If he can just hang onto the ball we have our punt returner. I don't see the Smitty comparison as he doesn't have Smith's tenacity or explosiveness. But I think he runs smoother. I see more of Santana Moss in him than Smitty.

Please god make that happen. Big Frank should be back in the line up this week. He looks pretty damn jacked. It may serve us well to have him playing more of a hybrid role with Ealy against a guy like Wilson.
