  1. They were all moist about Orakpo, so this is right up their alley, too. Neither frightens me in Atlanta. CJ Spiller in Atlanta frightens me. In a dome. On that quick surface. In Kyle Shanahan's zone blocking scheme with 1 cut and go
  2. Talking about former Eagles, I'd rather go after CB Cary Williams Trent's too old
  3. Sounds like Chip Kelly is getting rid of all the players that grumbled about Kelly's way of doing things. Cary Williams, Trent Cole, McCoy, etc. Power over the roster has gone to Chip's head
  4. Consensus on Bills message board is "Why didn't we trade for Foles instead?!" They seem ok with losing Kiko since he tore his ACL early and they were fine without him, and therer's chatter he wanted out of Buffalo anyway
  5. Traded players have their pro-rated money accelerated up. See Jon Beason
  6. Good for us not facing McCoy next year
  7. That was my point. Saying "well I can do it in Madden, so Gettleman better get it done" show how stoopid dat he be.
  8. Why isn't he at home doing his Auburn homework?
  9. Worried about what you won't be able to un-see?
  10. I don't Madden so I'd like to know when they claim "if it's in the game, it's in the game", does that include random player suspensions for failed drug tests, domestic violence arrests, DUIs, and missing team meetings? How about holdouts for a contract renegotiation? If it does, then I'll take these claims of being able to do it on Madden more seriously.
  11. Preview of Jeremy's next podcast "We'll be interviewing the Panthers locker room door. Was Byron Bell quick enough to get out of it's way, or did the door hit Byron's ass on his way out. Stay tuned..."
  12. Trade makes sense. Gettleman did say he wanted to get more older & slower WRs with big contracts. Now if he was cut so that big contract disappeared, I could agree with a cheap deal. Then when Roman Harper outruns him in training camp, cut his ass.
  13. You need to stop consorting with Saints fans. All their women are unclean
  14. *cough* *Albert Haynesworth* *cough* glad we have a GM that is wise enough to learn from other GM's mistakes instead of only learning from his own
  15. The Falcons finally address Tony Gonzalez's retirement by bringing in Clive Warford TE TheU
  16. Per Dave Gettleman's draft philosophy, 2 nickels don't equal a dime piece or in DGB's case, a dime bag
  17. Can't imagine a better landing spot for the newest Dirty Bird Hailing from whichever school he was kicked out of last He doesn't have a name Only initials DGB, WR, wherever He won't be the #1 option, so less pressure on him right away, and he has not just 1 but 2 good WRs to learn everything from, whether it's route running or strip club etiquette Assuming he doesn't die in a massive crack bender the night he gets drafted.
  18. Falcons (real life) will want to go to Seattle's 4-3 D, but they have no solid building blocks to start with. Randy Gregory OLB Nebraska is NOT their pick. With a build like Dion Jordan at 6'5" 235 lbs. he's too risky at 4-3 OLB and can he put on enough weight to play a 4-3 DE? Atlanta doesn't have enough young, solid, injury-free, collegiately productive players to build with. Until now. The newest Falcon flying into Hartsfield International will be Shane Ray DE TheMizz
  19. Careful Talk like that will get you bant Suppose to say there's only 24 guys in this draft that will make the Panthers better, and they'll all be drafted before we pick
  20. Colts will have the option of adding a 5th year to Luck's deal like we did with Cam since 1st round contracts have that option. So not as much negotiating leverage for Cam's agent there. You're right on Russell's contract it's the last year and since it's a 3rd round contract, there's no 5th year option. That gives the Seahawks a sense of urgency to do Russell's deal before the season starts, just like us.
  21. Link poster is broken, but I remember that rant from The Replacements "I gotta pay 5% to my agent, 3% to my publicist, I got child support, and do you know how much insurance costs on a Ferrarri mothafugger?!"
  22. I have no problem giving him an extra $2 million if it's for a tank so he doesn't get into another potentially fatal car accident
  23. Much better hearing that they are talking instead of not talking. Just in case, Bryce Petty from Baylor threw well today. Not saying, just saying
