Let me check on if Hell has frozen over first.....

Just means they'll go hard after Jordan Cameron since their new offensive coordinator, Kyle Shanahan, came from Cleveland. Cameron has an injury history, so I'm not worried as much as if they had nabbed Julius Thomas.

Whose spot is he taking, Glenn Frey's or Don Henley's? Please call the Philadelphia football club the Iggles so I don't get confused. Thanks in advance.

Saints sign Mark Ingram to 4 yr / $ 16 million contract
O-Ther replied to gettlemanjack's topic in Carolina Panthers
And say goodbye to Josh Norman next year? Or let Luke and/or KK leave the year after that? And deny Frank Alexander his chance at redemption? Or deny Kony Ealy opportunities to get on the field and develop further? There's not a consistent winner in the NFL that hasn't let a big dog walk, and he'll be the last one to head out for a while. -

From what I hear on the Saints board Breesus is not taking a pay cut and the only thing Loomis is extending to Breesus is a middle finger when Loomis says he's not offering Breesus a contract extension. As for Bunkley, a DT who's game was quickness and is on the wrong side of 31, better to bag $4.4 million than have to settle for little more than vet minimum. Glad he took a pay cut to stay and be pushed around by Kalil, Turner, and Norwell. Can't wait to see your re-structures and cuts before Tuesday. -

Agree. They look like the Panthers in Hurney's last offseason before the 2012 season started. Gotta get that RB signed and ask other vets to re-do their deals to get under that cap. Then the team got off to a bad start and Hurney had no answer to fix it. -

Only a few players that can give them the cap room they need. Junior Galette: $12.5 million roster bonus can be converted to signing bonus & spread out over 4 years; can't be cut, dead money more than cap saved Jahri Evans: $6.8 million base salary can be converted to signing bonus; can be cut and get $6 million cap saving Jimmy Graham: $2.9 million base salary and $5 million roster bonus can be converted; can't be cut, dead money more than cap saved Ben Grubbs: $6.5 million base salary can be converted to signing bonus; can be cut and get $3.6 million cap saving Curtis Lofton: $2.65 million base salary and $4.5 million roster bonus can be converted; can be cut and get $4.25 million cap saving Cameron Jordan: $6.969 million base salary in last year of contract; could be extended to reduce cap charge Brodrick Bunkley:$4.4 million base salary can be converted to signing bonus; Saints have stated they won't cut him David Hawthorne:$2 million base salary and $2.5 million roster bonus can be converted; can be cut and get $3 million cap saving Marques Colston and Jairus Byrd have already re-done their deals, so they can't help again. Breesus has said he's not willing to re-do deal again. The Saints have some work to do either pleading with Breesus or pleading with a few of the guys on that list. -

His contract is up at the end of 2016 season, so that makes it 2017. Unless it's a leap decade. -

They'll convert roster bonuses this year into signing bonuses to spread the hit out and make cap room. Next year there are a lot of high base salaries for the same players, so those will get converted to signing bonuses also to make 2016 cap room. Then Brees will be done in 2017 and the house of cards will collapse on itself. -
They thought so last year. This year, buyer's remorse? Sounds like they're thinking about cutting those 4 while they have the cap room to absorb the hits. Instead of hanging onto Collins and Johnson and sending the message that if your contract is big enough, then you're immune to being cut and can act however lazy you want.

Chatter here in FL is that Goldson, LT Anthony Collins, DE Michael Johnson, and P Michael Koenen are on the chopping block because of high salary & low production. Even sweeter about Collins and Johnson is they just became Bucs last year!

Until Silatolu and Kugzilla get out of the trainer's room, we'll need back-up guys that actually know our system and can, you know, walk onto the field.

Sorry to break the bad news, but DE Tyson Alualu has turned his back on us and signed with the Jags for 2 years & about $6 million. At least some of us will get our revenge and moon him from the cabana pool

Growl towels are better for covering that adult activity from the Fox Network pervs cameramen

With Charles Clay getting the transition tag and Niles Paul re-signing, It's pretty much just Julius Thomas and Jordan Cameron. Not surprised Dickson is getting more sniffs as a result

Tackle market drying up before we even had a chance to sign one away. Today it's Free and Newton re-signing. That means the bidding for Bulaga and Barksdale and Parnell just went up. Better that we got someone than no one

Wonder if that includes the CFL and Arena teams... His gas tank only has fumes left

The newest Falcon played as an end in a 3-4, but showed he has the speed and quickness to play end in a 4-3. He had one of the fastest 10 yard split times for D-linemen at the Combine and played better than Za'Darius Smith at the Senior Bowl. Flying in to Flowery Branch on Falcon 1 is Anthony Chickillo DE TheU

Long as she's willing to put her jewelry into pawn to help pay for college, don't push too hard. If she uses the "It's their dream" argument, tell her there's plenty of ways to prepare them for living on their own without crushing their dream of a good start in life by being a slave to debt. Has she thought about yours and hers retirement? There are no scholarships or loans for retirement.

Boys will be better off going into an internship and then corporate training program right out of high school. 4 years of real world experience trumps college training in everything and they're actually pulling a paycheck in year 3 and 4. College is for fun and adding tons of student loan debt that puts them in a massive hole starting out their lives.
