  1. Lol'd at comment--Hardy made his bed of guns now he has to lie on it
  2. Their team president knows better since he can't get one. No point aggravating the situation and giving him the fuel he needs to revoke perfectly good reservations with an outcry from the Jag fans.
  3. I'll wait until after Roaring Riot meets with them on Saturday about that little bump he needs to discuss with them before going crazy with the poo talk about owning their cabanas in their home opener. Plenty of time to let THAT sink in their little minds. I'll keep it strictly about the teams and players for now and advise everyone else to do the same. It's not too late for them to change their minds and cave to pressure from their own fans and team president, who are having their cabana requests turned down because we pre-booked all of them. Being their home opener will surely add pressure against us.
  4. We play the Allas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. No D. Sean Lee and Greg hardy you say? A LB made of glass and a DE playing on a D-Line next to Terrell McClain and Nick Hayden with no Charles Johnson on the other side? Like I said, no D in Allas.
  5. Don't care what the Dolphins do. We don't play them until 2017 and no matter who they draft, we will still have a good selection of players to choose from at #25.
  6. Would love the Peat pick. He'd be a plug-and-play starter upgrading both our running and passing games, while nullifying everything the Taints and Failcons are going to do to upgrade their front 7 in the draft.
  7. I'll never forget a sign a student had when FSU came to play. "If Jameis skipped leg day, would he starve?"
  8. Next year we'll open the whole regular season hosting the first Thursday night game after picking #32 in the 1st round of course.
  9. Good to know about Smith. Feel the same about O2, hip problems are a bad sign.
  10. Charles Johnson 6'2" 285 lbs. Kony Ealy 6'4" 275 lbs. Frank Alexander 6'4" 270 lbs. Mario Addison 6'3" 260 lbs. Wes Horton 6'5" 265 lbs. See the pattern? I'm scanning the DEs/OLBs available and not seeing many that match that mold. The ones that do are Addison types instead of Johnson, Ealy, or Alexander types. DE Preston Smith is the closest one, and from what I can tell is projected 3rd or 4th round.
  11. Height of irony if Leonard Little was the cellmate
  12. You're right. Bills vs. Jags Oct. 25 and Lions vs. Chiefs Nov. 1
  13. Imagine if our Jax game turns out to be the London one.
  14. 12 wins looking very do-able with that schedule.
  15. Sure can. We've got roughly $7 million in space now if the $3 million for Tillman is accurate. We'll get $2 million more cap space on June 1st when the credit for releasing DeAngelo kicks in and that will go toward signing the rookies. Then we'll probably extend TD and maybe Kalil, which can make some more space this year. Plus Cam's new deal this summer can possibly give us some more room this year if needed.
  16. According to Voth at BBR, the Bucs (I called it) and the Seahawks were bidding for him, too. Really knew what you were talking about there. Good job.
  17. Ixnay on the arriedmay talk Lola will cut you
  18. I bet the Bucs will be our main competition for him. Lovie's getting his band back together from Chicago by signing Melton and Conte so far.
  19. Gotta fit in on the Boston College campus while he's finishing his degree I guess
  20. Would be good for our young secondary, especially the rookies we draft in 3 weeks. Bene starts on the outside, then bring Tillman in for the nickel defense and slide Bene to the slot. Eventually, when the rookie(s) are ready around mid-season, phase him out like we've done with Florence and Cason.
  21. Gotcha thought it was the other way around missed 6 played in 10 Keep in mind what I said about JG being your tell on offense. We'll be watching.......
  22. You guys are going to be sooooo predictable on offense now with JG. Last year, the easiest team we had to defend was the Saints. The reason is JG don't block. Like, at all. Period. So the Saints were easy to defend. JG on the sidelines = run play JG in the game = pass play Your bread and butter lately has been your running game. You traded away a huge part of that with Unger. A good center is needed for a good line, and a good line is needed for a good running game. Better hope that injury fill-in you had last year is up to the job.
  23. the macarena and gangnam style were popular at one point too you were just a phase the Huddle went thru back to Browntown now moose fugger j/k we like ya but you need to explain how Graham will improve your run game in Unger's absence when JG don't block
  24. 9 rookies is a lot, sure. But I can see 9 current players getting displaced easily. Cotchery, Bersin, Brandon Williams, either Dwan or Cole, Horton, Harper, Lester, Melvin White, and Carrington Byndom. Then there's the numbers game on the O-line with some of Martin, Foucault, Chandler, Scott, Falkert, Silatolu, and Kugbila staying and the rest going. Wouldn't mind seeing 9 fresh faces plus however many UDFAs to take most of these spots and cut ties with as much dead weight as possible. Will set us up with a solid roster that will make deep playoff runs for the forseeable future.
