  1. Why don't you two compromise? Give Mr. Scot his sig back if he agrees to put helmets on those uglys. Maybe my night terrors will stop then
  2. We're good then. Seemed disingenuous that you'd leave off his receiving stats while questioning his production vs. salary. Hey if Gettleman sees fit to release Tolbert, I'm not one to question the move. The Keg with Legs will be 29 this season, very close to the big 3-0 that no back wants to see. I trust Gettleman's plan to keep or cut him either way.
  3. Should we have cut Cam's pay last year since we paid him for 16 regular season games but only got 14? You of all people should know it's not all about the numbers. It's also about making the defense account for you to open things up for others. Or should we only pay our playmakers if they score a TD every game?
  4. http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/players/playerpage/1616887/mike-tolbert Scroll down to the game log that shows what games he played in this year. I stated we went 1-7-1 in games he was injured in or on temporary IR for. Pittsburgh would be the game he was injured. Can't fault the man for losing that game when he got hurt in it. Placed on TEMPORARY IR Sept. 22. Came off TEMPORARY IR Nov. 18. Played full game in Minnesota. Lost that one, then won the last 4 regular season games. That makes it 6-1 regular season with him playing the full game.
  5. I love how you think Quinn did something other than take over what Gus Bradley and Pete Carroll had built. He was simply a caretaker. He may very well have an eye for talent and developing it, but it's not something he's had to do yet. Btw, unless LB Malcolm Smith had his name legally changed to Bobby Wagner, you got the wrong guy as SB MVP.
  6. He bring any talented Seattle players with him? Schofield doesn't count because I specified talented players.
  7. Yes. He's more of an offensive weapon like William Floyd was, especially in the red zone and on 3rd downs. It's no coincidence the Panthers were 1-7-1 in regular season games that he was injured in or on temporary IR for. With him healthy in the line-up, they went 6-1 and Shula was able to be less vanilla. Still room for Ward on the team. We could also use a blocking fullback like Howard Griffith was for us. Brockel doesn't seem better than either Tolbert or Ward at what they do best, so the writing's on the wall for him.
  8. Someone's salty about Cam having the same number of playoff wins as their golden boi. Much more recently, too. "Your defense won that game, not Cam" That what playoff football is about. Defense wins championships. Brady didn't intercept that pass on the 1 yard line. The year before, Wilson didn't sack, intercept, and shut down Manning. And Arizona's defense was orders of magnitude better than that bunch of dirty turds you had on defense. That's why the Falcunts won't be close to sniffing the playoffs. They had 17 picks combined in the 2013 and 2014 drafts and used 13 of them on defense. They still ended up with the 32nd ranked defense last year. Bravo.
  9. Tolbert's a free agent after the season. Gotta make the move for playing time now if he wants a Cam-sized contract
  10. Hope this happens If I contribute, I'll write it slowly so the people who read slowly can keep up
  11. We read it on the bigeasybeliever's blog. Claimed it was 1 of the 5 reasons y'all would win it all again. Because Payton's mad. lol
  12. Honestly probably more to do with what Seattle's been doing than New Orleans. They started the trend of taller CBs. Panthers are drafting to combat that league-wide trend and y'all are following the trend.
  13. Lee's thinking, "you better not rip one Stewie"
  14. Thanx for Coleman forgot him. Now Corey Brown I had at 6 feet last year. Did he shrink an inch this off-season? The other 3 I left off as not having a strong chance to make the final 53.
  15. Exact same height and weight as Cam. Getting bigger and taller has been our GM's focus past 3 years. Only players under 6 feet tall are the RBs and WR Ted Ginn.
  16. Still listed as 245 lbs, same as last year. Updated weights just posted today on team website.
  17. Fug. Thought Inside LBs had different numbers than Outside LBs since OLBs get paid more for pass-rushing. I did my own math on the top 5 inside LBs. Welp, hope Luke doesn't want OLB $$$.
  18. If it was something to worry about, Gettleman would have "encouraged" Rivera to handle it, like the Special Teams Coach.
  19. Thor happy Thor not happy Thor not sure if.... Thor wut?
  20. Pssst....franchise tag is based on what position you play. Top 5 Middle/Inside LBs average is much lower than top 5 DEs average that Hardy got last year, the $13.1 million you quoted. Franchise for Luke would be $8.74 million. That's counting Clay Matthews as an OLB, which he was when he signed his newest contract.. If Matthews is considered an inside LB now, the franchise tag for Luke would be $9.77 million.
  21. Yes it does. Wasn't implying it didn't. Just saying if Cam wanted to turn into a money hungry *sshole like Revis did in his first stint with the Jets, Cam could hold out in year 4 and have us swinging over the coals since his contract is front-loaded. Seriously doubt he would tho
  22. Front loading is better for the player not the team. After getting most of the money in the first 2 or 3 years, players are more willing to holdout while demanding a new contract with even more money. Thankfully Cam doesn't seem like he'd do that to us.
  23. Too many roster variables right now to see what our cap space will be next year. Final cuts to 53 will make it a lot clearer.
