Official Panthers - Bucs Gameday Thread
FootballMaestro replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Panthers always play down to their competition when they have a lead, then have to scramble/sweat it out to win the game, when the opposition "miraculously" come back! These are the type of games, where a good OC would have the Panthers up 2 more TD's with 48 points now. Prevent Offense and Defense in Tandem. -

Are the Panthers trying to run the clock out, then place their QB in uncomfortable situations on obvious passing third down situations (or a cloud up the middle). Get Newton (and the team, his third TD dammit)! -

Why does the heavy rain always appear to come back when the Panthers have the ball?..Or is it just me? -

It's almost like, after the rain/the early scores, the team wasn't interested in moving the ball well, and going for the jugular. The run game sucks. Yes, even/apparently against TB. So if the Panthers want to win (at least against this team), Cam has to be involved. -

When will the Panthers and Shula learn, no lead is ever safe in the NFL. Don't take your pedal off the metal, and be afraid to run your offense/score points (even in the rain, against a sucky team)! -

Where are the quick hitting plays on offense, when/where the QB knows exactly where he's going (let's say 5-10 yard quick pass)? -

So the offense, continues their tradition of slow starts, even when spotted a 7-0 lead (along with an early FG off a gift turnover for an early 10-0 lead). SMH -

Need another Panther score obviously, to avoid any potential "On The Road Against The Underdog/Change in Momentum Disasters". Keep the pressure on them Shula. Panthers, appear to be moving the ball well. -

Are the Panthers in Run The Clock out (wait till third down) mode to throw already? Just make some short-to intermediate throw, until the offense/passing game gets into a rhythm, then take some shots. The conditions, shouldn't stop you from diversifying your offense. -

Wow! This is like a Seattle/Russell Wilson type start, provided by the defense. Go Panthers. Hope Ron Ron and team don't go into "run the clock out mode", and keep trying to score. -

Beginning of the End For the Redskins?

I thought the title meant the team on a whole. It's the Beginning Of The End/They're done to!!! -
JJ Watt Obliterates fan at Zac Brown Band Concert
FootballMaestro replied to nctarheel0619's topic in Carolina Panthers
Of course this is staged. You know what kind of law suit Watt could/would have against him if this were not??? Even an NFL DE is not that stupid?? LOL -
The stuff people get upset, speculate about, over on The Huddle during off season. Yikes!

Just because he got promoted to Assistant GM, doesn't mean he'll become THE GM whenever Gettleman needs to be replaced. I'm sure the Panthers will cross (or plan to cross) that bridge when necessary. In the meantime, Brandon Beane, get's his promotion.

Panthers Wide Receiver Depth Chart - OTA Week 2
FootballMaestro replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I see the Hill Hypes' still prevalent here!? I mean, I wish the guy well and hope he makes the team. But it's not like he's a lock for 4th receiver (the way some here make it sound), mind you making the team at all. We'll see?- 107 replies

I also thinking having the right OC can build consistency, as they can call plays when the teams in a rhythm Shula, will call the most stupid play, or move away from successful ones, seemingly completely out the blue.

If it makes you feel better: That's only from Wilson and his teammates making the Superbowl in two recent years, instead of his actual play or value within the offense (they don't know or understand, if they even watch).
