  1. Panthers can/should bust this one open. They just have try and believe!!
  2. True, and I have no problem with it, as long as the Panthers stay aggressive as they look today. It's only a problem, when Rivera poos the bed and turns into Foxball/mode for the rest of the game. INT's happen. But just keep marching up the field, and it shouldn't make much difference.
  3. And on top of that both Luck and Wilson had widely overthrown passes (each) during the game, so he's full of it/lying. Wilson however, did make better run decisions from the get go than Cam, who finally ran with the play calling.
  4. See fellow Huddler's. Turnovers are not a big deal, if you play like you know you can score again (and if your defense just plays decent). Just don't have a loser/conservative attitude towards offense. Keep it up Ron Ron/Shula. You can blow this game open (hopefully) in the second half.
  5. Nice drive by the Panthers. Now score 30 in the second half. You got the formula. Mix it up, use your players.
  6. Both Wilson and Luck made some HORRIBLY overthrown passes today. Please. Minus the INT (remember Wilson had one to), Cam has played better. Wilson, however ran better out of the pocket than Cam.
  7. It's still early guys. Good teams can put up 30 in the second half. The Panthers shouldn't stop their aggressiveness or play calling. Good teams don't act like there's a limited amounted of points to score. They'll just "get em" in the second half.
  8. Newton threw it off his back foot. But wasn't that Offensive Holding??
  9. What a punt. Panthers have it on 30 yd line. Maybe they can get more room to run Williams, Tolbert, and Barner in the flat with a prevent defense. Panthers just gotta keep mixing it up. And some point the receivers will actually catch a ball and break one.
  10. Now be aggressive in closing the half, and keep doing what you're doing last series coaches. Just keep mixing it up.
  11. Maybe Cam will have another shot at the end of the half? They should get the ball back, barring a break down.
  12. The Play was drawn up perfectly. Lafell just tried to run (cause he was so open and close to the endzone) before he caught it.
  13. Nice play call, and trust of Cam from Shula. Lafell just dropped it. SMH That's POOR EXECUTION, AND NOT RON RON Yes, The Fire Rivera Brigade [actually] knows the difference
  14. And Lafell Drops it, when Ron Ron [finally] shows some balls. Lafell, was trying to run before he caught it. SMH
  15. Does Shula realize if he runs a few screens and rushes, then he can throw deeper stuff??
  16. Shula (obvioulsy) needs to mix it up with screens, intermediate and deep throws, before Cam starts hearing footsteps and starts making rushed throws.
  17. Cam should have taken off on that last one (and especially had not taken the incompletion to be 7/10).
  18. LOL That's the spirit. I'm sure they're some here that want to think that/this. Lol
  19. Good throw by Cam. Not so nice drop by Smitty. But it's early. Watch certain Huddler's still say "Cam Made a bad throw, or is inaccurate" later, since it'll be an incompletion on the stat sheet.
  20. Yup Yup Rivera had no intention of scoring a TD during that last series of the Buffalo game, despite the idiocy not to (6 pt lead still makes you lose to a TD. TO means Buff still has to march length of the field to score a TD). No one can defend Rivera for his coaching that game. It was awful and he was obviously SCARED/Way too conservative!!
  21. I hear ya Red. But personally, I wouldn't bring Rivera back unless he made the superbowl. So just cause it's early, it doesn't mean you don't do your preparation now (especially after that Buffalo fiasco). Maybe Gettle's seen enough, knows the deal (i.e. Rivera's shaky)?
  22. If DG wants to keep Cam (The Rotworld article/re-hash), then it's a smart move. Rivera will just not help Cam either stats or win wise. And of course, it helps DG in General (especially if he keeps Cam) when it comes to winning, and keeping his own job. A competent NFL coach (Rivera is not) can make a big difference/change a teams fortunes.
  23. Exactly! You can't do your best coaching search at the of the season if you could line up/size up candidates now, months in advance. This way you can properly access, negotiate, wait out certain people, grab them early, etc.. Keep him or not keep him. It's a good Move. Rivera's hasn't shown anything in the NFL that would require otherwise. I would have fired him last year. So maybe Gettle is just trying to do this the right way, barring a miracle by Ron Ron (for me a Superbowl appearance).
  24. I'm sure Gettleman was pissed watching Rivera poo the bed during that Buffalo game, as he sat on a 3 pt lead. SMH Now, he's going to let Rivera know, "it's full pedal to the metal"/you gotta win if you wanna come back. They probably had a talk and we see what happened against the Giants (38-0). So now during the 4th game, in case Rivera got complacent, this is perfect timing (especially after a 2 week bye). And this should silence/Question all the "Rivera is learning, is great coach to me" supporters on The Huddle!! Gettleman knows Rivera is flawed. Anybody would (except some Huddler's/his relatives), just watching hist first few seasons, or the Buffalo game.
