You must be seeing a small number of Bucs fans. Most I’ve seen wanted him there a long time.

I’m not exactly sure what you all wanted him to say. Even if he believed the roster was garbage, he wasn’t going to say that to the media.

With all due respect, the GM hire was never going to drive ticket sales.

The team terms it a “restructuring” if I read that correctly. It will be interesting to see what that entails. Who is added to the front office? Do changes occur in the scouting department?

Though I think Johnson ends up in Washington, I think folks are overplaying this.

It can be true that their Oline is better than ours but not be as good as hyped on here.

Probably a little bit of both.

I also think the slow down of the GM search has more to do with the HC search. Most reports say we want a HC first. Prioritizing that would make sense if it’s true. Now, the real argument is if that’s the right approach. My personal opinion is no, but I know it’s been done that way in some stops.

I’ll give you the potential undermining but we only have to look to the end of last year. Tepper didn’t change, but despite that, we looked like a functional team. The difference? We had a coach who set the tone and held people accountable. Again, I’m not someone who likes Tepper, in fact, I wish he’d sell the team. With that said, I can’t give Reich a pass (just as I don’t with Tepper either).

Not a Tepper sympathizer at all, but if a coach demonstrated they knew what they were doing and you could see some progress, he’d probably back off a little. A huge issue is we looked so inept under Reich.

This seems more speculation than hard-hitting news.

If Tomlin’s available, it’s a no-brainer! However, I think Pitt holds on to him.

To be fair, nobody thought we’d have a shot as he was the presumed #1 pick.

First, not sure we need to start a new thread each time. Stroud looks amazing, better than I even anticipated. With that said, coaching matters. His coaches have put him in a position to succeed. He’s clearly talented but I don’t believe he would have had the same season here.

I’m not the biggest fan of Monken which means he’ll probably get the job. I don’t care what side of the ball they come from. I want competence. Build a culture and stick with it. There are a couple on the list who could do that.

The offensive line was horrible today. Short of the first drive, they couldn’t pass or run block to save their lives. Was Bryce good? Heck no! But most of the time, he had half a second to throw at best. The interior was consistently blown up on the snap. There were missed throws sure. But there were also drops, poor tackling, poor coverage, and no kicking game at all. It was a complete meltdown.

Everyone on the team did not show up today. I can’t think of one unit that did their job!

Bryce has had a rough day and missed some throws, but I can understand why the guy is shook. The OL is hot garbage, it’s horrible! He has no time whatsoever, none!

Potentially, but I’ll give him a little benefit of the doubt as it’s a torrential downpour.
