I ran my first 5K today. I know that's not a big deal to you runners but I had a huge breakthrough. Just over a month ago I could barely walk because my knees hurt so bad. I actually ended up running 5.15K and felt like I could have kept on going for a while but was afraid I'd hurt myself.

WTF is going on in here?

Did my 100 push up test today. Managed 80. Took a 60 second breather then did the last 20. Not to make excuses but I turned 38 yesterday and I was hung over. I think if I was to work on my technique and breathing I could get there but quite frankly I'm just sick of push ups. Going to focus more on running now / I have my first marathon to train for.

Not really surprisingly enough. I've been doing some running and sit ups on my days off and the running has made me horribly sore. You were definitely right Biscuit, 100 consecutive push ups are no joke. Based on how I felt today I'm calling 75.

Did 304 push ups today over about a 3 hour period while at the office. My 100 consecutive push up test comes Saturday or Sunday, which ever day I feel the best. Not feeling optimistic about this.

I remember that. A couple days later someone posted a video of a camera attached to a mans dick up inside a vagina. That was totally acceptable for some reason.

240 push ups today. 7 sets (32,38,30,26,34,30,50) As soon as I saw this work out I just started laughing. I knew I wouldn't be able to do them in the 16:00 total minutes allowed. I cranked out the first 4 sets then had to take some serious breaks between the last 3 sets. Two more work outs till the 100. Even though I didn't do it in the time it was calling for I'm feeling more optimistic about pulling off the 100.

I'm not sitting here thinking it will be easy that's for sure. I'm not doing any other lifting while doing this so that helps. Just sit ups, push ups and running while alternating days. Oh and I bet if I do get a hundred those last 20 or so might be suspect. Did I go down far enough for it to count?

I did 178 push ups today. The workout was 7 sets (18,20,22,18,28,26,46). I was unable to do the last set of 46 so I had to do two sets of 23 instead but completed all required. My final test of 100 consecutive comes about Friday of next week. I'll let you guys know if I make the 100 or not.

Yeah I'm a little concerned that it has me doing the 100 in just over two weeks from now. I'm just startng week 5 of the program and this is what the last workout looked like. Week Day Total reps 5 sets Feb 23, 2014 4 3 132 24,28,22,24,34 Its crazy how it has you doing the most push ups on the last set! Makes it very tough.

I'm also doing a similar program for sit ups. Great thing about these exercises is you can do them anywhere. No more didn't have time to get to the gym excuses.

Just finished season 2. Did not disappoint. While Frank is clearly the bad guy I can't help but pull for him much like I did Walt's character in Breaking Bad. Don't be afraid to launch some nukes to get your way Frank!

Welcome back. Ha! I don't want to ruin it for anyone but the Subway scene was a laugh riot. That character was annoying beyond belief to me.
