  1. I wouldn't call them prayers. He gave his receivers a chance to compete for balls. Those throws were going out of bounds in his previous performances.
  2. Context is also key. He protected the ball well and made some good passes down field. The Saints are one of the worst defenses in the league statistically, possibly the worst.
  3. He has probably bought himself the rest of the season and a few more wins probably gets him next season because we won't pick high enought to get a 2025 starting QB in the draft.
  4. Should've been PI for trying to rip his jersey off but still poor from XL.
  5. Every time he changes the play it's always into something which gets no yards.
  6. Nobody was offering more than a 4th/5th for what's basically an 8 game rental.
  7. Don't think anyone will give up a third for him unless they can get an extension done at the same time. Most likely a 4th/5th.
  8. There's no point blaming the coach. This is probably the worst roster the league has seen since the expansion. There's not a player on the defense outside of Horn that would start for any of the other 31 teams.
  9. Nobody is trading to 1 for those QBs or Travis Hunter.
  10. I hate Thomas. Such a terrible player.
  11. We pretty much have no money invested in the WR group. Even less once Thielen is gone at the end of the season. We have a promising 1st round rookie and nothing much else beyond that under contract once the year is done. At some point you have to pay the money and keep what you have if the production justifies the outlay. What's the point in losing it in the hope we find something similar in the draft, just because it will save some money? The defense is in need of all the high draft picks and it's going to be hard to find someone as good as Johnson in the later rounds, so that leaves you signing JAGs in free agency with the likely outcome being a trashy WR group. With that being said I would absolutely trade him if he made it clear he won't stay around regardless of the deal on the table.
  12. Ideal scenario is we keep Johnson and get him tied down to a long term deal. In his mind he's probably thinking if he keeps playing like he is a better team will offer him a similar deal, so why stay here. Chiefs have two 3rds in the 2025 draft so I could see them offering one of those for a WR from some team. Having said that I probably wouldn't trade him unless it was a 2nd or higher.
  13. Feel for him with the amount of injury problems he has had in recent years. Probably played his last game as a Panther.
