I agree with you there. I think every single sport can be boring on the surface to those that do not understand the finer details of it. Most people just do not get that and instead bash the sport and its fans when they are ignorant about the strategy and whatnot.

I find it funny that you are talking about three of my four favorite sports there. MLB is easily #1 while soccer, NASCAR, and College Basketball kind of rotate the #2 slot depending on what type of mood I am in and what time of year it is. Oh, and there is nothing better than a great pitching duel. =)

I personally feel that teams that do not earn their league's automatic berths and have to go through a qualification to get in should be in Pot 4 (unless they were champs and their league has no automatic berth). It could also make group stage a hell of a lot more interesting.

Wow, getting worked by the umps tonight. This is terrible. I am not one to blame the umps, and I am not blaming them here because it is not effecting the score, but their handling of this has been atrocious and one sided. How Price is still in there and we are on our fourth manager is beyond me.

The brawl was silly. I disagree with making a big deal about the steal, but at the same point, Escobar is a total pussy. He was basically challenging the whole dugout and then backed up when Gomes came in. The coward would not even look at Gomes as he left. Never had I seen announcers so brutally kill a guy as how the Sox guys went in on Escobar. Do not get me wrong, the whole thing was silly on both sides, but Escobar should back up his crap and not respond.

Not sure what is wrong with them but the last two weeks have been awful. Finally got above .500 and then lose ten straight.

Well things have not gone as well since the 2-1 start. 5-7 and behind the Yanks, me no likey. Although with Matt Moore likely heading for TJ it really is going to make things interesting. I figured the Rays to be the team to beat with us getting a WC, but w/o Moore, who knows.

Always nice to start a new season with a series victory. Reminded me a lot of last season. Without actually looking it up I seem to remember losing the opening game of a series, and then going on to win said series a lot last year. The Yanks opening with a series loss against the lowly Astros makes the all the better!

The killed her off because she had served her purpose (helping him obtain the Vice Presidency). She was no longer useful and becoming dangerous to Frank. Same reason he killed Russo. In order for her to stay they would have had to make her completely drop her investigation of Frank and forget about it and go back to writing the stories he wanted written. At the same time they would have had to make Frank believe that she was no longer a threat. Neither would have been believable.

I agree but that is not what they did here.

Just finished Season 2. Love this show, just wish I did not have to wait a whole damn year for more.

It was one of my two favorite shows of 2013, along with Boardwalk Empire which I have been obsessed with for four years. So yeah, I enjoyed it more than both Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad, both of which were spectacular this year. I think I actually watched the whole thing in a twenty-four hour period. Look forward to a re-watching Feb 8-9, followed by a total binge the following weekend. I really hope season two is able to match season one.
