Bayern clinches their group with a 2-0 victory over Roma I suppose you have to give Roma the advantage for the second spot since they are now tied with CSKA and they are done with Bayern.

Yeah, they are doing well. I normally am not too into it this early in the year. I was referring to the Red Sox sad season, the Panthers poor play and all the crap going on at UNC (not to mention my losing my Fantasy MLB on the final day of the season). Once winter rolls around soccer and college basketball rise to the top of my watch list, although with the way things are going it may happen sooner than normal this year.

I am so happy about the Bayern game. I was at work and unable to watch on my phone so I was only getting updates, but it was still a lot of fun. Then I realized that it was the first time I had really been happy about sports since the World Cup final. The last few months have been depressing as crap on that front.

As a Red Sox fan I am very excited to see Friedman leave the Rays. I have always felt that he was the most responsible for the Rays success, even though Maddon got all the credit.

Happy to be one of only four teams yet to concede a goal (with two of the other three being involved in a scoreless draw). Also happy to be atop the so called "Group of Death." All that being said, two goals in 180 minutes is not going to cut it deeper in the competition.

Just two months ago my brother and I were talking about how successful these Cuban bats have been recently and how the Sox need to get some. First they trade for Cespedes and now 2/3 of the OF is Cuban. I figure being on the same team can only be a positive for both of them. If this kid turns out to be the real deal then it is an incredible contract. Still need a rotation but it is rare that a 56-72 team could make me so excited for the following season.
