He had the worst supporting cast in the league. And he got them to 7-9. That was with a terrible defense missing legit starters from covid opt outs. Cam can still make poo happen.

We could’ve stacked wins with him at the beginning of the season with the easier part of our schedule to get into the playoffs. It’s now a tall order with the hardest part of our schedule coming up. If cam had started the whole year we’d have been 7-2, 8-1. also if they’re planning on starting him Sunday that’s unfair. He hasn’t played all season, isn’t in football shape and new offense. 3 days from signing to start against the #4 defense in the league. They need to give him a week.

We’re locked in for his cap hit. That’s what I meant. If the cap isn’t real then why aren’t teams just throwing mega contracts outbidding teams for players they want? Why isn’t Tepper with his billions doing that? Damn if he only knew that we could’ve had an all star team! And he didn’t have to hire all those people in the org that manage the cap! The cap can be finagled but it’s still real and can have compounding effects. I’m talking with the 18 million next year for Sam we could’ve used on signing some decent olineman or making a splash for one in FA. That’s not far fetched. He saw him for 3 years before or whatever. Smart on Robby. the only dumb thing I said about Sam before the season started was I thought he’d have a career year here with Brady’s system. Not that that’s saying much as his best year was like 19 tds and 13 picks. But I thought he’d hit the mid 20 range. Bradys system is extremely qb friendly so that just shows you how inept Sam is. I don’t think Sam is gonna play many more games for us this season tbh.

Don’t sleep on Robby whenever we get a new qb. Not saying he’s gonna be a 1k yarder but he’s not this bad. I didn’t want to sign him to a second contract fwiw but he’s not as bad as the stats show. Sam has just full on imploded any opportunity for him to come back from the drops and make plays.

I’m fine with accountability but the fact this trade for Darnold was made is a huge red flag about their talent evaluations and what they thought they could do with him. My guess is Brady is gone this year regardless if he’s fired or he’s just had enough shitty qbs and takes another job.
