Cam is fine as a placeholder. I’d still bring in another vet to get that qb room solid and in case of injury. We need to draft the qb of the future for sure. But cam brings some stability and leadership that we need moving forward at that position. We desperately need nfl coaching. That is the biggest need of the off-season.

Cmc is basically untradeable at this point. He’s missed what? 22 of 33 possible games the past 2 seasons with that gigantic contract? We might be able to get a mid to low round pick from a team who has a bunch of cap. Maybe. But probably not. I honestly wouldn’t trade anyone else. We need nfl coaching for our young players. Honestly? Coaching was better last year. We hung with playoff teams, super bowl teams. Teddy could run the offense competently but he is so heavily limited that I get moving on from him. But we double downed on the stupidity after him. If we had drafted fields instead of trading a fuging 2nd rounder for Darnold we’d actually have a little bit of hope right now.

Luke leaves the staff and Chinn goes from a pro bowl/all pro level rookie talent to a role player. He’s playing like a jag. Chinn said his rookie year he worked with Luke one on one in film study. I know Chinn moved positions but what the fug. What is this staff doing relegating one of our most talented defensive pieces to this. If Tepper gives this staff another year that’s another year of our young players missing out on nfl level coaching. I’d even point to brown looking worse then his rookie year. We have one of the youngest rosters in the nfl. Get nfl coaching in here ASAP.

As long as it’s done before the last two weeks so we can get a head start. I want it this week but that’s just fan spite. There is no turning this around a la 2012. I want an offensive minded coach who has nfl experience, nfl connections. I truly believe competent nfl coaching we’re an 8-9 win team this season. Which was the goal this year.
