The only hope we can have for the short term is rhule adapts and learns which I don’t find to be very plausible considering his micromanaging bullshit. He’s a control freak and people like that don’t change.

They’ve all been hurt and declined in production. They are not worth their contracts. poo Henry just missed half the season after signing his contract and he’s the best running back in the game. Cmc was always a ticking time bomb with his usage and frame. This isn’t crazy talk it’s just the way it is. Running backs take the most hits. It’s common sense. You do not build around the highest paid running back on a second contract with his usage and frame. His best season, historical season, we went 5-11. if we wanted to pay him then they should’ve moved him to wr and take on a more Curtis Samuel type of roll with a handful of runs out of the backfield but working the slot mostly. Now look at us. We have the worst offense in the league with the highest paid player playing a handful of games in 2 years. We are a joke.

In order to clear the cap for 23’ for a new staff. If they continue to use cmc the way they have been next year, which they more than likely will, he’ll miss games again so what’s the point then that dead cap will be something the new staff will have to work with.

You people live in a fantasy world. Go look up the threads I’m not gonna do it for you. Plenty of people said not to sign him to a second contract, try to trade him or let him walk. History has shown that rbs on second contracts get injured and do not live up to their deals. You don’t build offenses around running backs anymore. It’s stupid. And the first thing Matt Rhule does in his tenure is sign cmc to the highest rb contract ever. Don’t get mad when people tell you the truth and then it happens.

Plenty of us saw what was about to happen with injuries people like you weren’t paying attention. This will never happen but if rhule is kept id cut cmc if no one will trade for him and take the dead cap hit this year. It’ll be brutal and we won’t field a good team but we aren’t anyway so I’d be done with it. Start fresh with a new staff and high picks and plenty of cap.

He’s not a clown. He has serious mental problems and is very unstable. Hope he gets help but I doubt that happens.

Feeling like he’s gonna get 1 more year so I hope the plan is to just add oline talent, roll with Sam. No drastic trades and no qb pick. Part of me doesn’t want to watch next year if he’s here but part of me wants to see how bad it will actually get.

And this is the only reason I’d do something comparable to this because rhule is going to fail miserably this upcoming season if he is retained and having a new coaching staff with a poo ton of draft capital is very enticing for future coaching prospects.

Rivera was mediocre for sure but he runs circles around Rhule which is depressing.
